I live in Camarillo so this is the closest CostCo to me, but I avoid it at all cost. I much prefer driving down to Westlake Village and shop there. Very inefficient workers with bad attitude. One time I waited in line in Pharmacy. The cashier was more interested in talking to her coworkers. Despite there was no one else in line, she never saw me. After waiting for about one minute, I walked up to the register. She turned around and saw me, said "You are supposed to wait in line. I will help you this time, but you need to wait in line next time." Ah lady, if you were actually doing your job, you would know I waited in line. Maybe pay more attention to your job instead of chitchatting. Same attitude at returns. The lady there cut me off (not that I was talking for a long time, literally at the very beginning) when I tried to explain the situation. Sure enough, the return didn't go as planned and she needed my explanation that I was offerring at the very beginning. Then she said, "You should have just said that from the very beginning!" Seriously? They probably don't care here as this CostCo is popular and busy. It is the Walmart of all Costcos.

Needs more staff and a bigger outdoor food court. Lines are insane. Slowest Costco on the planet at every point: food, gas, checkout.

There's always long lines but of course that's expected but the prices are great especially the rotisserie chicken

This review is mostly for the food court but it reflects the management of the whole costco and the way they inefficiently run it. I was told I was slowing down the line because i didn't use the prepaid robot. I dont do robots lady. I don't do self check out. It's all garbage. They told me it was to help them. But how does that help me?? I didn't know the customers were supposed to help them lmfao. And they are trained to tell people this. They should probably stop telling customers they are slowing down the line when I'm just getting 1 single chicken bake lol! All because they don't want to take the extra 30 seconds to charge your card. Also here is a news flashy idea!... hire more people or open the other window. Why are you only using 1 order window when oxnard and ventura is way too overcrowded. When you first opened in the early 2000s you had 2 order windows active and now it's busier so you switch to 1 window?? Lol. I also pointed out the fsct that the prepaid order pick up line is longer than the regular line. What a backwards mess. I guess its true though. In 2024 you really can't go anywhere or do anything without being disrespected or getting a headache for things that should be simple and easy. Costco can go F themselves for real. There won't be a next time. STOP BEING CHEAP AND DO YOUR JOBS! THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT! I can't wait until this backwards company goes under.

LOVE the quality and everything else about Costco. Can't stand all the crowd tho, waited half an hour in the food court line for one of their hotdogs and before that I had 6 different people trying to check out ahead of me at the cash register

Solid selection like any Costco. Not as big as some, like SLO, but when the lines get huge they staff every register and keep shoppers happy. Also, still the best gas price in town and worth the short wait.

Every employee I came in to contact with was very rude and negative. When I went to check out the cashier made it seem like I was a burden.
