Not all Boot Barns are alike - the one on Oxnard is exemplary - excellent customer service, very helpful and a great selection of boots.

Have a corporate account but prices were already pretty good for retail. Went to the Thousand Oaks store and they suggested I go to the Oxnard store that had a better selection of the work boots I was looking for. Blanca helped us and there was an issue with the account. By the time I found a pair I liked she had the issue resolved and I was walking out with my boots. Normally I steer away from sales people. Glad I didn't this time.

Forgot to remove sensor off boots. They blamed it on me saying I forgot to remove the sensor. Was very condescending. Horrible customer service.

One dude who was pretty hefty on the weight and had a red flannel and timbs absolutely garbage service. Ignored service Manager said was gonna come back and give me advice on Jackets leaves and never came back take ur business elsewhere there's a Wharf in Ventura go there

I love this boot barn!!! EVERY time I have gone into the store, everyone has been so kind to me and even take time to chat. I went in there today and it was super busy, but everyone had a great attitude and were super attentive. I know what a grind it is to work retail during the holidays especially and I just wanted to show the employees some support! Merry Christmas!

Pretty Simple. Customer Service is key in Retail. When you decided to dismiss loyal customers for whatever reason. This is unacceptable and I will take my business else where even if it means driving to another location. This was the case when I placed an order for a boot that wasn't in stock at my local Boot Barn. The staff ordered the shoes. Manually as the electronic system was inoperable. When the boots came in the evening manager was completely disengaged with the sale. Like she couldn't be bothered. First stating that there were no orders that had arrived. Then when I told her the staff had texted and called me. She got frustrated and called to the back room. The shoes were brought up and then she was to see my ID. She then placed the package on the counter and walked away. Didn't check to see if it was the right shoe, size or color or even to open the package up. I did and verified and then had to ask for a receipt as it was a gift for the Holidays. The cashier that was at checkout noticed the attitude and apologized. Typically I wouldn't trip. Everyone has a bad day. But if you're the manager or lead associate. Act like it. What kind of example are you showing your Jr staff? Especially during the Holidays Your busiest time. I do love the store and products carried. But I will take my business to another location or shop on-line from the point.

Love the variety of clothing that Boot Barn has. I didn’t even realize they had anything other than boots so that was a nice surprise when I walked in. On average you’ll spend $100 on a pair of pants and $40 for a shirt. But the clothing is unique!

This place is super tidy and clean. It's a transformative atmosphere when you walk in. The country decor and music take over and you're instantly in the good ol' country. They have very high end products and all very organized. There were lots of workers roaming around the store tidying everything, talking on their walking talkies and CONSTANTLY checking in with customers. We got checked on every 2 minutes it felt like by a different person every time.

Got a good gift for my grandpa from here but the associate at the desk totally rubbed us the wrong way lol. we ask for a gift bag or gift box and she doesn’t really look for one just kinda says yea we don’t really have anything like that but how about the shopping bag? we’re kinda looking at each other and like uhhh no that’s okay nevermind and somehow she goes off on a short tangent like saying “oh well everyone knows what boot barn is” and she says that me and my fiancé were being weird like what!! maybe me and my fiancé were just being awkward but she just kind gave up on us and said “we’ll i dont know cuz you guys are being weird” idk sorry not going back there again ??
