My appointment was missed twice and scheduled again for the third time. The provider, Chuck who eventually showed up did a great job all by himself, however the customer service with scheduling, informing and confirming my appointments was absolutely terrible.

I will give an honest review, after being asked by AmeriGas to provide one multiple times.We are 'stuck' with AmeriGas service as it would be too difficult to remove their tank from our property (can't get a crane that far into the property). Their prices are typically higher than their local competitors, however if you point this out, they may provide you with a discount code for a one-time use.Their drivers are always very nice, helpful, and courteous. Their trucks are always new and clean, and in good working order. The drivers are not, however, always informed as to exactly how much gas they are to deliver.Case-in-point: Because we don't use much gas outside of winter, I pre-paid to fill the tank only to 60%. The driver wasn't informed of this and ended up filling my tank to full capacity (80%), essentially forcing me to pay an additional $350 I had not budgeted for. I called AmeriGas to see if I had any recourse, and the customer service agent seemed to imply they would "take care" of the excess amount. All they did was remove the $35 late fee on the overdue amount. I continued to receive calls about the amount due.I ended up paying the $350, but I'm posting this review after experiencing similar situations by AmeriGas in the last few years.

An absolutely criminal operation, seemingly from the top down. They dangerously mis-diagnosed an issue with a propane system that existed on a property when I purchased it. Subsequently, after being fired, they caused thousands worth of property damage by breaking the electronic mechanism on my property’s front gate and then trespassing. I am currently filing suit against the company and their Santa Barbara county territory manager Richard Hernandez due to a complete lack of professional response to a clear and substantiated private property violation. I called and said I was down to 17% and there have been power outages and another one was scheduled. I have a whole house generator that runs on propane and please make a propane delivery.

Nasty company. Dishonest. IF you must stay with them, get everything they promise in writing. If you're smart, go to a company like AAA. They're honest and fair. Amerigas is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Good riddance.

I am being charged a rental fee for a 250 gallon tank when I have a 200 gallon tank. Called and representative assured me this would be fixed in their system. That was over a month ago, and it is not fixed.

Coming out and trying to fill our tank (twice maybe 3 times) when our tank wasn't under 30% NOT GOOD.... =( Raising prices without letting us know as well.

This company has horrible customer service and is no longer competitive in their pricing. They are not letting me cancel! they are continuing sending me past due notices but won't sell me the tank that they want to charge me to have them pick up. This is a bad company!

i have had one of the worst customer experiences with you. You cancelled 4 appts to fix the equipment causing me and my family and unfair and unprofessional consequence. I have asked for compensation from you from the harm you caused but have not heard back yet.We have to settle this matter or i will stop my service. we been customers for many years. The service use to be great till they decided to do the automated service. Not only is the automated service so annoying but to top it off you get somebody from another country that does not understand what you're trying to tell them. Horrible service They deserve zero stars. Will be looking for a new company.

Due to major flood issues, your delivery didn't arrive until almost weeks after we called in an order. The delivery driver called late on a Friday afternoon to say he would arrive on the following Monday. He was aware of the limited access to our propane tank and didn't have the long hose needed to reach it from our driveway. I then told him our gauge was deep in the red zone and we needed fuel ASAP. He then promised to come late that day. Upon arrival he made an extra efforts to maneuver his tank truck down an overgrown side-lane, around a steel fence post to a position where the tank was reachable with his ~60 ft. hose! MANY MANY THANKS for the extra effort!
