I think Rubys is the worst I tried to take back a sweater I got for Christmas and they did NOT tell my husband of the Terrible return policy I will tell all my friends not to shop there

I went in and bought a Kimono but was unsure about it, and was told if the tags were on it would be acceptable to return. Came back two hours later to a different employee after I decided it wasn’t my style and the employee said “There is absolutely nothing I can do.” Even after I explained what the other employee had said. I went in another day and returned it, but only a part of the money went back to me. I called a few days later and was told it would be put on a gift card, and not five minutes later they called again and told me I wasn’t getting my money back, but you can come pick it up since it’s yours. I wasn’t told a deadline but was later informed it was donated Saturday evening (yesterday). Honestly feels like they completely scammed me, it was my kimono, and they had no right to donate it.

BEWARE! BUSINESS STEALING FROM PATRONS, was at Ruby's and ended up purchasing around $300 worth of clothing and then continued to their other store Red Fly next door and spent $250 there. WHile at the register of either store, I was not made aware of their HORRIBLE return policy which states returns only accepted for store credit within 14 days, EVEN WITH RECEIPT PRESENT AND TAGS STILL ON CLOTHING. When spending that kind of money on clothing especially not trying on some things it's absurd to not give the customer back their money if something doesn't fit or work. If they choose to apply that policy you should at VERY LEAST BE NOTIFIED OF IT BEFORE THE EMPLOYEE GLADLY TAKES YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND COMPLETES THE SALE .
