My check engine light came on and somebody told me to go over there and I did the place was packed with cars and he's a busy busy shop and I walked in there and I said hey my check engine lights on he came outside with his meter plugged it in he read me the code he cleared the code and he told me it would be okay just kind of like to get back to my hometown which was about a hundred miles away I'd be okay so I mean he didn't ask me for any money or anything but I just gave him a tip and I said hey thank you so much and get you a cold drink or whatever but really really friendly man very very nice guy and if I was local I would have definitely had my repairs done there

I had an issue with a sensor on my Explorer. I called around to get quotes from the "reputable" shops in Oroville. The quotes ranged from the shop minimum of 1 hour labor, to 2.5 hours labor. The actual replacement of the sensor took about half an hour, and Lakeside Auto charged me accordingly. They didn't charge me based on some exaggerated book estimate of shop time. It's a shame that so many local shops mislead and take advantage of customers, so it's very refreshing to know that you can still get quality automotive repair from an honest, and trustworthy shop.Service: Electrical repair
