I purchased a hose connector and discovered it was the wrong size. I put it back in its original packaging and they wouldn’t accept it as a return. So stupid to lose a customer over a $7 purchase. Ace hardware, you just won the competition for my business. Congratulations.

The sweetest little hardware store in all the world. Great staff, very eager to help at this bedrock of the Orinda community. The store is small but the selection is great. Please shop here instead of Amazon.

Don’t work here if you want to be treated with respect. The managers are incredibly petty and rude, even if you try to be polite and respectful. Just know they won’t do the same for you, as an employee, if you do decide to work here.
