We took our dog here for a concerning growth after becoming disillusioned with our prior vet in Oakland. Apparently many vet practices in the area have been taken over by VCA. Once that happens, the prices go up and the service declines. Unlike our prior vet clinic, Theater View offers highly personalized and caring service. They are super/ responsive to our questions and concerns. Dr Langford took excellent care of our dog, communicated with us along the way, and involved us appropriately in decision-making. I can't say enough accolades of this wonderfully homey yet highly professional veterinary practice.

Love Dr. Tim and the staff at theater view. Very sweet, patient and professional. They genuinely care about our fur babies and always happy to help and ease their anxiety.

I have been raising and showing dogs for over 50 yrs and Theater View has been my go to veterinarian for many years now...and I am very picky! They have always been professional, kind and considerate!

I'm with Community Concern for Cats and we have been their client for years. I always recommend them as they are wonderful! I can't believe all the "bad" reviews that mostly seem like nonsense to me. Everything is great about them, including their prices. Since Covid happened, vet hospitals have been overwhelmed with probably hundreds of new pets that were acquired during Covid. Most vets reserve two spots for same day appointments. Right, it didn't used to be that way all the time but it is now because of the higher need. And many vets won't accept new patients because of the increased need. So IF you are already a client and call at 8:00 a.m. with a need for a sick animal, you will likely get one of those appointments. Or, if there happens to be a cancellation, you may score and get one those appointments. Be a good patient, appreciative, and vets will work hard to help you. But they can only do so much.

Always a good experience. My tiny pup, who is afraid of strangers, willingly goes off with anyone in that office. Good care and my dogs feel safe.

I have three dogs and each time that I go, the staff remembers me. Maybe I go too often. But it is a family atmosphere. The price is very fair. And the staff is very compassionate. I have been a customer, and my dogs have been patients for over 10 years.

The minute we found out Dr. Laurie had left the other vet clinic in Orinda, we followed her to her new practice. We've never been sorry we did. Dr. Tim bought the practice from Laurie when Laurie retired and he and Dr. Amelia and Dr. Lexi are some of the finest in the Bay area. We trust them with all of our animal concerns. We recently adopted an abandoned 2-year-old German Shepherd with serious separation, anxiety and behavioral issues. Dr. Tim reacted calmly and is helping us give this boy a better life. We also have 2 16-year-old cats that we are determined to help live a long and happy life and we know they are in good hands with the team here. We love everyone at Theater View Vet

I truly can't say enough wonderful things. Excellent communication system with ease of emails for appointments, etc. Dr. Amelia and Dr. Tim are so thorough, attentive, and knowledgable. Every staff member has been so loving and caring to our pup, we are so grateful for Theatre View Vet and recommend them endlessly!
