“This area of pleasant hill is always a delight to stroll through. The variety of restaurants bakeries and little shops there's a little something for everybody. The live music that brings together everyone adds to the fun atmosphere this area has to offer. Plenty of parking available.”
“This shopping area is within walking distance of my house. It has pretty good variety for a smaller shopping area. We got Mexican, Chinese, Sushi, and a Pizza place. There's a Safeway, UPS store, coffee shop, dry cleaners, dog groomer, Edwards Jones, a 24 hr fitness, a couple realtors, and a nail shop. There's a ballpark, public library, basketball court, tennis courts nearby. There's a community center, Christian Church, and Temple Israel, a two day care centers. It's a solid neighborhood center. Too bad the owner is trying to level it and build more houses. We need nearby goods and services for a better quality of life more than we need several hundred more neighbors.”
“Nice shopping complex with plenty of parking spaces in the El Cerrito area. The Plaza is located walkable distance from the El Cerrito BART station and has almost every shop including Lucky, Ross, Daiso, H&R block, AT&T mobiles, T-Mobiles etc.they do have some restaurants as well.”
“Great service, environment, and food. Our server Tony was outstanding! After he took our order, he checked in on us at least 4 times. He even brought us to go box before we could ask. Food was in large portions so come here with an appetite”
“Mel's Diner Pinole great place to eat clean always great service I always came there as a group play serve groups really fast and really well giving groups all their attention that's needed food is wonderful my favorite is the BLT with avocado on the side and a cup of clam chowder wonderful meal that fabulous cornbread”
“? Very good shopping plaza with a lot of parking available. I like how stores are located in one place. Staff members in the stores are courteous, knowledgeable, professional.”
“East Bay Nature is here. They have more varieties of bird seed than you can imagine. The have everything from birdhouses to cards featuring animals and extremely helpful staff!”
“Grocery store (Trader Joe's), pet store (Petco), furniture (Arizona Leather), food (Panda Express, Noodle Company, Starbucks, etc.), and WW, plus a bank. There's also a fitness place for children to do gymnastics.”
“Last Sunday I went to this mall with my cousin. We both love this mall. It's a very nice outdoor mall with many of our favorite stores. I love the Nordstrom, Macys, Anthropologie and Free People. Of course there are several more stores that I like. There are so many great restaurants nearby too. We ate at True Food Kitchen and it was delicious. This is just great mall. It's especially nice to go on a nice day. Last Sunday the weather was just right. There are many expensive stores, but there are also stores that are moderately priced. The employees I encountered at the different stores were friendly. I have been going to this mall for many years and I still plan to continue shopping here.”
“Free parking Max 4 hrs, perfect if your planning mall shopping, eating at many unique restaurants and catching a movie in a multi leveled theater or just hanging out with your friends and family, whatever you desire on your adventure it would sure be delightful?”

472 Water St, Oakland“Beautiful waterfront space to eat or walk ~ Jack London Square holds a special place in my heart as I used to live/work in the lofts walking distance nearby before anything developed into what it is today. I still remember taking our Australian shepherd for a walk along the way when it was just a few restaurants (some still there/some not), barely any residents or grass for her to play. Whenever I'm back in the area, this is one of the areas I'll revisit to eat at a restaurant, catch the sunset or early morning coffee walk. The marina is relatively clean, peaceful, family and pet/pedestrian-friendly, with views of Alameda and San Francisco. Modern wooden benches and decent public restrooms are available. While I prefer not to use public restrooms if there's other options, the women's restrooms here thankfully did not make me cringe. Some restaurants open up around 11am. Metered parking or garage parking options. With one of my fave Farmhouse Thai restaurants here, it's always a good reason to come to Jack London Square or for farmers market. If I were ever to live in Oakland again, this would be a potential neighborhood.”
“Personal cars parked at Alameda Landing for access to the restaurant, shops, banks, groceries, department stores, urgent care, or charging-up the EV, are not apparently experiencing high rates of car burglaries happening off-island. Such a stress reliever. Fill the gas tank, go for froyo, window shop, watch kids play on the children’s contraptions, take pictures, buy a new shirt or flower vase, go eat burgers or sushi, grab some groceries and drive home. Or drive 5 minutes out to the point and breathe. Peace.”
“I like this plaza, it's small but it has a bit of everything. The only bad thing is that there are people watching your car and bags, ready to steal if you leave belongings inside your car, just be careful. The shops are 9/10.”
“Pleasant little shopping center. That a huge number of selection options but if you consider it part of that "Mt. Diablo Blvd drag", then there are plenty of options in this broader area -- from grocery, to coffee shops, to restaurants. The area is clean and safe and while traffic can be mildly irritating, it's not bad and you can usually find parking if not at the Plaza Center then at least very close by.”

10700 MacArthur Blvd STE 200, Oakland“I love this shopping center at Foothill Square! The ROSS here is so much better than the one in The City at Market & 4th Streets. There was a line of approximately 300 people when I took a fellow veteran to buy some shoes there. Only 5 registers open, 50 security guards standing around doing nothing, no wonder people steal the stuff here! I called a manager over, handed her the shoes and told her I was posting the deplorable conditions here on Google!Spend less on “security” and hire more cashiers!Went to Footlocker and got the veteran his shoes! The ROSS at Foothill Square was cleaner, better stocked and even with about a hundred people in line to pay for their items, it only took 13 minutes to get to the cashier! That is great customer service!!!”
“This is go to for East End of Alameda! Starbucks, NoB Hill market, pet food express, round table, Pilates Gym, lots of local eatery! Even bumped into Keanu Reeves here, while he was shooting Matrix/JohnWick.”
“For a little town, this shopping center has everything. The Daiso has so many things. Old Navy has Christmas pajama pants for $9 with pockets. All neatly stacked. Rita's custard is here. Christmas tree is up. Vons chicken is there. Can't wait to go try it. Yi Fang Tea shop. Korean restaurant. Kohls. Safeway. Only a block to the water. Get a picnic basket. Plenty of parking. My favorite Trader Joe is here.”

1834 Fourth St, Berkeley“Nice place to visit if you're in the area. Medium to high end clothiers, furniture, lighting shops as well as medium to moderately priced, taquerias, cafes and restaurants.”
“This is an old school diner. Expect the food to be tasty and the service to be on point but check the specials every time you go because nothing stays the same except thr breakfasts whenever I go.”
“I see there are 2 Durant's on Yelp so I am leaving the same review here for LEE's Jewelry. This review is specifically for LEE'S Jewelry. Lee provided great service and great quality gold chains. We came in to buy our son a present for his 16th birthday coming up. He took good care of us. Its nice to know there are still businesses out there that are grateful for their customers. He also greeted other customers by name, so you know they are returning happy customers. Thank you Lee!”
“This shopping center has CVS, Safeway, McCall's & several smaller businesses. Jewelry, deli, etc.! You should stop & walk around the center. It's has a really nice place (garden) to enjoy your drinks.”

388 9th St, Oakland“Great little shopping and dining plaza with really good Asian food. Also, great place to learn about Asian culture since there is an Asian cultural center and the plaza houses a branch of the oakland library. Nothing much has changed other than a couple shops have closed permanently including the Boba shop next to the bank of America. That's too bad they were my go to drink place when I visited Chinatown.”
“Usually easy to find parking. The entrances are pretty steep. The restaurants are good. It is too bad the building with the ice cream shop had a fire and doesn't look like it will be back soon.”
“I had a lot of things that I needed to get done in a small amount of time. My mother enjoys sending cards to everyone for holidays, but because of some unfortunate circumstances she wasn't able to do it. I decided to pick up the slack, but I also only decided to pick up the slack about three or four days before Easter. I found that there was a Dollar tree in the shopping center, Went there with a friend, got about five cards and a gift , and a shipping sleeve to put the gift in. We then drove down to the USPS, got everything put together and mailed off everything. In the end we went to TJ Maxx just to walk around because why not. This Center seems to have everything you might need. I think we parked in front of like an auto park fixed thing.”

2100 Contra Costa Blvd, Pleasant Hill“It makes me mad that this is the nearest place to do any banking for b of a now if you live in the Martinez, pleasant hill, Pacheco area you have to go here or over near spaghetti factory. They do have a pet food place (cant remember the name), a CVS, vitamin store, staples, a grocery place (can't remember the name off hand) that has some unique items. So it's a nice place to get some different things.”
“College Square is a shopping area that has restaurants, nail shop etc in Pleasant Hill CAWe went to the mexican restaurant for Sunday brunch in the College Square. They have an all you can eat buffet with omelet & waffle bar with the bottomless champagne/mimosas.El Tapatia is not a fancy place, it is a regular average place, it is nice & big & the food is good. The employees are nice and friendlyThere has alway been plenty of parking on the days I have been there.”

7200 Bancroft Ave, Oakland“The DDs store, which is in that shopping plaza, sells clothing, shoes and accessories, it is very varied, low prices, lower than Ross, and of good quality too. I recomend it to you!”
“The restaurant was better than average. The service was courteous & efficient. I ordered my usual Eggs Benedict and was DISAPPOINTED..........The bread so hard I could barely cut it with my knife & the eggs were overcooked. But they are under new ownership. Because of the way I was treated I am willing to give them another try.”
