Be aware! I was coming here for 2 years based on great reviews. But I felt skeptical when they tried to sell me new tires every time I went in. Recently, I went in to ask about why my steering wheel has been rattling while driving on high speed. Read on.
I gave another tire shop in Lafayette a call. Over the phone, they found out I've had the wrong tire size. In person, they found that I had mixed tire types put on (all weather and summer tires) All this happened because I trusted them. Very disappointing since I paid a lot for these ultra-high performance tires. I do hope this didn't cause any issues with my car's AWD system.

Got a flat tire on the highway on my way to work, conveniently the orinda exit wasn’t far and even more conveniently the shop was very very close to the exit! I thought they wouldn’t have my tire since I have rare tires on my golf R and most shops don’t carry them, but! He did! Got me in and out as quick as they could!! Thank you guys, earned a long time customer! Also their is a Pete’s coffee right next to it ☕️ Happy customer ??

I highly recommend Orinda Tires and Wheels. We have had three sets of tires installed on our three vehicles, a SUV, sports car and a classic car with a smaller tire size which was hard to find. They were very competitive and easy to work with.

I recently purchased four tires for my small SUV. I was able to schedule the appointment within a day, and the work was done quickly, professionally, and at competitive price. Ali, the owner, is very customer focused and it's great to have this business in the neighborhood. In the past we have bought tires for our other cars here too, had repairs made, and it's just so convenient to have these services available. I highly recommend Orinda Tires and Wheel.

I was shopping for tires but two things prevented me from making a purchase today. 1) How stupid to list warranty in kilometers versus miles. This is the US, not Europe. We go by miles. Why make customers work for information? That's how you lose sales. I'm not going to look up the conversion to miles. Never have, never will.... Until I live abroad. LOL.2) The big damn yellow box that won't leave the screen that wants to force customer to read their reviews. If customers want to read the reviews, THEY WILL! Don't be annoying by making a big yellow box follow customers around to each and every page, making it harder to view the page and no "x" on the box to make it go away.

Amazing.Ali spent a lot of time with me looking at alternative wheels and tires for my vehicle. He was very patient and informative about what would and would not work, as I was changing the size of the wheel (from 20" to 19"), and as it's a fairly new model EV. They moved over the TPMS' for no additional charge, and the tires were inflated to the exact PSI. Rotations every 7k mi. are included.They did a great job, worked around my schedule, and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. Less than a week from the time I made a decision and they ordered the tires and wheels, to them being installed.We went on a trip two days after the install, and these new tires / wheels made a huge difference.Highest recommendations for Orinda Tires & Wheels.

Scheduled an appointment for tires mounted and alignment by phone a few days in advance based on good reviews. Over the phone I mentioned aftermarket suspension and they said they can only adjust toe angle, which I said fine. I showed up today, and they denied both mounting tires and an alignment because of “custom alignment”. They said they only do stock alignments and no reason why they couldn’t mount my tires. Definitely just a regular old tire shop with cheap labor and poor service.

I've had my tires patched here multiple times. I seem to have a penchant for running over nails. I call ahead, he lets me know when to show up, then uses his magic spray bottle to find it where the leak is. This last time I couldn't see it and he couldn't either but the bubbles don't lie. There was a tire-colored nail in there. He pulled it out, patched it up, 5 minutes and $20 later I was on my way.

I had a nail in my tire and needed to replace it along with others that were on the verge of bare anyway. The owner was very helpful and seemed trustworthy. Ordered new tires and got them on two days latest. Really appreciated their individual service and kindness. Would definitely recommend to others.

I highly recommend Orinda Tires and Wheels. I recently had my car in for regular maintenance at Audi. I was told I would need new tires and would need to wait a few days to get them in. I then got a hole in my back rear tire with a nail I must have run over. I took my car in to Orinda Tires and Wheels as they had patched and replaced tires throughout the years. Somehow Ali kept track of all my past tire purchases and also quickly diagnosed why my tires were wearing so quickly. I purchased a full new set for far less than Audi was going to charge me and Ali's alignment fee was also much more affordable. I so appreciate Ali's responsiveness and helpful explanations. I feel great about supporting this small business and am glad we have them here in Orinda!
