If you cherish your pets, this is the vet clinic for you. Dr. Sullivan cares and suggests preventative measures to keep your pet in the best health possible. She has been entrusted with all of my pets’ care for 14 years. She is an asset to our community and so is her wonderful staff!

The staff members at Country Corners are kind, responsive and explain things clearly. Dr. Sullivan was very kind with my dog and explained options to me without judgement on my decision. I'm grateful to have the Country Corners team to serve my dog's needs.

First time I've written a bad review, ever. Just feel like people should be warned that this place feels more like a pharmacy than actual care/animal wellbeing. I was warned against coming here but had to out of a lack of time, and I left feeling absolutely horrible about my dog and the vet was suuuuper intense! Seriously I left almost in tears and without a sense of hope concerning my dog's special needs. They were pressuring me to buy all their sponsored products, some that I didn't need and some that I know are absolutely a bad idea for pets to have (Purina dog food with highly processed soy only, no meat). When I asked about the option of making my dog's food homemade my question was evaded and she again told me just to feed him the incredibly expensive bad quality dog food. There were many red flags during this visit, and I was told I'd need to have my dog on steroids lifelong (which doesn't actually solve his problems).I just took him to For the Love of Pets in grass valley and was so glad I did! The vet there worked with me and my budget, confirmed my hunches of NEVER feeding him the Purina soy food, is going to help me come up with a homemade diet for his allergies, and the best part is I left feeling uplifted, my dog cared for, and the vet being highly confident that she can help me find relief for my dog through diet and environmental changes. She even told me where I can find some of the recommended supplements/medications online for cheaper than buying there.Again I hate to leave a bad review but feel like people should have a heads up before going here unless it's for emergency situations or routine checkups. Multiple people in the area have confirmed this as well. To clarify, the younger girls training there were super sweet. I wanted to tell them they should train elsewhere but bit my tongue.

My first trip to this vet, with my cat, went well. My second trip, with my dog, did not. The doctor was rude to me and talked down to me. Then I requested the a copy of the record of my dog's visit, in person. I was told by the receptionist/secretary that I needed to fill out a form, the doctor needed to approve and sign the form, and it would take 5 days. They could have pulled my dogs file on the spot, copied 3 pages, and it would have all been good. The receptionist/secretary talked to my like I was a child. I'd give them 0 stars if I could.

Rude and intolerable Vet/Owner! I will never take any pet of mine here ever again! I believe every one star rating on here wished they could give no stars! I hope one day you go out of business honestly! Oh, and replying "they are not a client here" Is a lame way to try n dupe someone's review! I personally am not a client, but my dog is! Also, if word of mouth in a small town doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what does! ??

I have to say I never write reviews. Shannon Sullivan was beyond an awesome doctor for me and still is for my pets. I refuse to see anyone other than her for my dogs and cats. I will admit, first impression was she was rude, she implied things extravagant to me, I continued to take my distressed pet to her. I could tell she cared about the animal more than me!! You yourself as a human are not her patient, her patient is the animal. Isn't that the whole reason you're there to begin with!!!! She cares deeply about her patients, which are your pets, family, children, whatever you want to call it. I know for me and my family with young children and all of our family children she has been nothing but the best and I will never see another vet!!!! My large animals have a different vet and I will speak just as highly of

I have been there several times and have always found the premises to be clean, the staff helpful, friendly and Dr. Sullivan to be thorough and knowledgeable. Your fur kids are in good hands here.

I have found Dr. Sullivan and all of her staff to be very knowledgeable, caring and professional. Dr. Sullivan will tell it like it is with little sugar coating or beating around the bush. I like that trait in a Dr. In response to the reviews that say " uncaring" I have found the exact opposite to be true. I have been to see Dr. Sullivan several times now for different things. My old dog was slowing down, routine vaccinations, travel certificate for a puppy and most recently an emergency visit for a whole litter of pups with gut issues. During each of these visits I found the staff to be kind, thorough and professional. I was given several options of care levels and was able to choose what I agreed with and could afford. I highly recommend Country Corners Verterinary, 5 stars!
