So far so good! Miles is our PM and he has made the move in process so easy. Fast application processing and fast leasing process. He’s been very responsive to all our questions. We love that they use the online Appfolio portal for rent payments. It makes things so easy!

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. They steal your money!!! We have rented their property and kept it in great condition and they charged extra fees for no reason and didn’t give us deposit back. They never answer emails or phone calls. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Throughout the lease they never answered emergency calls when it came to property maintenance. Bad people, save yourself the headaches to come

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT! They steal your money!!! They haven't returned our deposit back when we left the property in same, if not better, condition we left it, yet they are charging fake fees. When emailing them proof of the house condition BEFORE moving in and having videos of the walkthrough as PROOF, they ignore our calls and emails. Very unprofessional, service is horrible. Avoid if possible. They are THIEVES!

I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism from Michelle Shipman and Miles Bloom at Searchlight Properties in not returning my full deposit. Not only that, they are not responding to my numerous emails and phone calls. If I ran my business in this fashion, I would quickly be out of business. This company has not returned my deposit to this date, which was supposed to happen 21 days after moving out. And, I now have been informed they are holding back over $1,000 of my rental deposit unjustly. To explain, I rented a property that was in disrepair. I did not realize the extent of the disrepair since I was not allowed to view the property until our move-in date. Searchlight did not take over the management of the house until a month after my move-in date and had no clue of the overall condition of the house and yard either, since apparently the previous property mgt company did not convey that information to them. We lived there for 2 years and moved out a month ago. We left the house in much better shape than it was when we moved in, yet we are being charged for general house cleaning and carpet cleaning as well as items (not ours) being left behind. When I moved in, the previous tenant who moved out the same day as I moved in, left behind junk inside and outside of the house. There were holes in the walls and they desperately needed painting. The family room blinds were broken and looked awful. The sprinkler system in the front and back yard did not work. The only thing that did get fixed was the hole in the wall after I complained numerous times. Oh, and they finally got a gardener out to fix the irrigation system only a few months ago. The previous tenant had 3 German Shepherds who were indoor dogs according to the neighbors. The carpets were dirty with tons of dog hairs. The baseboards even had dog hairs on them. The rest of the house wasn't much better. I need this money. This is an outrage and needs to be rectified immediately. They have 21 days to return the deposit and that time has passed a week ago. Everything is being bungled. Don't use this company!!

This is by far the "1" Best property management out in the central coast. The property manager Stephanie Flores is one of the most amazing and phenomenal women that knows her job and knows how to treat tenants. She is respectful, honest, and caring! We have never had to deal with a property management before and we were nervous, because we had contact other property managements and oh my they were rude and disrespectful. So if anyone wants to use a property management to rent a home, or to put your house as a rental, I highly suggest Searchlight Properties! You won't regret it!
