Great shop to step into for inspiration for quilting projects and garment construction. I learned about the shop from the Central Coast Shop Hop and made a second trip back on a recent trip south. Great wall of notions too! Stop in for a sandwich at The Homestead when you visit. Delish.

What a lovely quilt shop. I found exactly what I needed. The people are lovely!!! Highly recommend this shop. If you knit, there is a great site down the block. What a great neighborhood of shops. I will be here every time I need fabric!

I’ve always been greeted kindly, and my cuts are excellent and they have an excellent choice of fabric. My only problem is that they don’t carry civil war style fabric, colors etc. which are my favorite and I have to drive out to other stores to get them. They have great choices of quilt rulers too.

I always find something to buy here. There quilts they display always gets me to buy a pattern just have trouble finding the right material I'd like to make it with they had a lot of fat quarters but not as much in bundles that gave me ideas. Or in the layers cakes too not much to pick but I bet they just sold out luv it here

I have visited the Old Town Quilt Shop in Orcutt many times. It is a wonderful quilt store. The selection of fabrics is extensive and awesome. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I always leave there feeling very happy that I stopped in. The online shopping is very easy. I am grateful that I get to consider Old Town Quilt Shop as one of my "local quilt stores."

I hesitate writing a review since there is no anonymity, however, I think I morally need to. I rarely go to a quilt shop even though I am a very serious quilter. So, when I go I am very excited. Quilt shops are a happy place to be--generally. I was so excited when I got to Old Town Quilt Shop that I didn't read the signs at the door and walked in. Therefore I don't think the staff liked me from the start. One staff didn't acknowledge me at all even though I was the only one in the shop. I host two sewing groups in the sewing studio on our property. We talk about quilt shops. I will share with my friends about my experience. I realize people have bad days, however, I think staff at quilt shops need to make a point to be smiley, friendly and interested in customer's projects etc., regardless of their personal circumstances. It will be worth it for me to go out of my way to go to Atascadero next time.

I went out of my way to drive to this shop and besides letting me in the door I was ignored. Every other lady who came into the shop was greeted and asked if they need help and..... Left without buying anything even though they had stuff I wanted/needed and will NOT return!!
