YES…… They tend to be more expensive than a lot of stores, but overall in that timeframe they have really tried to lower their prices on general items. Except for bread, lol Keep up the good work though. And people….. Please use the app. It makes a difference.”
“I love Trader Joe’s in general, and especially this location! After frequenting quite a few Trader Joe’s locations in different areas, this is certainly one of our favorites for sure. Generally, always well stocked, great selection, and prices of foods as all their locations have, and super friendly staff, which is always a huge bonus! There is certainly plenty of parking, right around the location in the parking lot, Bill caveat is it can be a little crazy with cars and pedestrians if you happen to park right in front of the store. Otherwise, if you park a little further away in the lot, it’s less of a headachein coming and going from the lot itself. Even though it’s about a 40 minute drive each way from where we live, it’s definitely worth the drive compared to shopping at any of the other Trader Joe’s locations in the opposite direction from where we live.”
“This is a high-quality grocery store that carries fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, and a large variety of designer food items you can not find anywhere else in Santa Maria. For instance, Knotts Berry Farms preserves, and Jelly can not be found in the local markets in Santa Maria, but Spencer's Market in Orcutt, CA, carries it. The meat department carries high-end cuts of Harris Meats, and they are all fresh and well worth the price. This particular market is the best market in Santa Maria Valley.”

“By now, you all know I will shine the spotlight on military facilities. Today is a commissary (grocery store) at Vandenberg (now Space Force) Base. This is a very large military installation; they get a nice large commissary to match the base population. Price used to be a huge advantage but not so much anymore. Most items are still less expensive but the gap between them and the commercial market is much smaller. A huge benefit for anyone living on base is location because it's a long drive to a grocery store off-base. Another nice feature is the deli where you can stop in to grab a bite for lunch instead of the fast food close by and there's really not enough time to drive somewhere and make it back in a short period of time. They have plenty of check-out lanes to keep the flow moving. Baggers work for tips.”

“Great Selection of meats, cheese, spices, Mexican bread was super soft. We came back to purchase more in the same day!! I am from the Rhode Island and I stocked up on all items to take with me. Great prices nice people. Definitely worth the stop!!!”

Everything was nice and organized when I came in and they knew their store and lead me to the exact isle and location of the items I needed! The item I came in for wasn't out on the shelf, but Zachary wasn't gonna let that slide and went to the back to get the item for me!!!!! Thank you guys for your excellent service!!!”
“This is a Santa Maria landmark. I've been coming here for years and it's really never changed since I was a little kid. I like coming here because it is family owned and they always make these deep fried burritos in the morning. The breakfast burritos are so good! When I was younger I would stop by here on the way to school and grab two of them! Sometimes during the day they had regular deep fried burritos but that was awhile back. Not sure if they still do it now especially since covid and everything but these were so good. The prices here are pretty fair in my personal opinion especially since it's right off the freeway and they have little things that you might need if you don't want to drive straight to the super market. Overall I love this place! The people that work here are awesome and the prices are fair!”
“The staff here are very nice, and money orders are only $1. However, parking can be challenging during rush hours as they share a small lot with Taco Bell, a laundromat, CHC, and other businesses. Additionally, Walmart reserves about five spots for the pharmacy. This is the only downside I’ve encountered. To save gas, consider parking on the street during rush hours..”
“A well stocked and clean grocery store. The employees have been friendly whenever I've been and I've had no problems finding all the items I needed. I will say it's a tad bit cold in the store so if you can bring a sweater, but other than that I have no complaints with this location.”

“This is a fun little quiet town to spend a casual afternoon. There are plenty of little shops and unique stops along the main road. I got lost in some of the nostalgia. Gardens full of unique flowers and great ideas for recycling materials into art. People are all warm and welcoming. If you ever pass through Old Orcutt, stop and smell the flowers, have a glass of wine or local brew, and enjoy the slower pace that is an pleasant find in California.”
