Gen at Sierra Vista Doodles was so responsive, so helpful, so supportive! We were grateful to be able to draw on her several decades of experience to bring our dog-finding journey to a smooth and happy close. We brought home an Australian Labradoodle two weeks after moving, and he transitioned seamlessly. He has been such a wonderful guy! Profoundly healthy, happy, eager to please, easy to train. Every time we are out, people stop us to admire him; we are asked about half a dozen times per day what kind of dog he is… everyone loves him! At five months, his manners and intuition are amazing. He will unleash his inner puppy when my daughter or another dog want to play; he will lie quietly at my feet when I am working in my office, and rest his head on my knee when I meditate; he will sit calmly to greet strangers when we’re out. We’re also pleased that he pulls out his Big Boy Bark when he feels we are threatened, including when he spots a stuffed bear. That will be useful for this Truckee dog. :-)

We are a repeat customer. Our first doodle Murphy is the perfect family dog. He is gentle and patient with my 10 grandchildren. He is the first dog we have had that has not shed. Gen helped us through the process of selecting our puppy, She provided educational materials throughout the process and even years later is available for questions. As a result we are in the process of getting our next doodle Charlie from Sierra Vista Labradoodles.Read less

We really can’t begin to express our gratitude to Gen and Sierra Vista Doodles. Falling in love with our little Houligan (Houli) was a given. He is calm, sweet beyond words, so smart, healthy and adorable. What I didn’t expect was to be on the receiving end of such experience, professionalism, integrity and willingness to guide us every step of the way. We have had experience with other wonderful breeders, but none like Gen. I have given her 30 page manual to all my friends who have dogs. Houli went home with a stuffed dog with a heartbeat and the scent of his mama on a blanket for his crate. With the love and care he had before we took him home, he adjusted to his new life with wags and kisses. We will be forever grateful we chose Sierra Vista.Bree Solheim

Gen is absolutely the best breeder we've ever adopted from. Her care and attention is showing at every step of the process. She clearly cares deeply about the the integrity of the breed and the health of the puppies. We live in New York but it's definitely worth the trip. Couldn't recommend more.Thank you, Gen, for giving us the sweetest Goldendoodle we could have asked for!

Just an update on Layla who was in (Maggie & Charlie's 2013 litter) she is thriving and has aged beautifully and is still healthy and energetic! She now has a 3 year old brother who is a golden doodle who we adopted.

We adopted our lovable Tide in 2011 and have had the best eleven year run with him. Our experience with Gen was wonderful and she is well versed in breeding. Would absolutely adopt from Sierra Vista again.

Gen was absolutely awesome throughout the entire process. From birth to now one year, she has been there to support and advise me. My puppy Bou is healthy and happy, and I am thrilled to share that after a year we are now at a peaceful coexistence stage. He makes me laugh out loud every day. Highly recommend!!!

Gen with Sierra Vista Labradoodles has been in business for many years and it shows. We purchased Lido from her 4 months ago and couldn't be happier with the temperament, demeanor, calmness, of our puppy. She's such a good listener and cute as all get out. Lido has made getting a puppy a piece of cake. I highly recommend Sierra Vista Labradoodles and couldn't be happier with our pup and the breeder.

Our Corbin is a little over six months now and we are over the moon; in love with him. Such an amazing pup; with looks and beautiful temperament. Wish I could post a photo of him.

Our Lexi is 4.5 years old now, and still cannot play like other dogs, she struggles with focus and attention, hyperactivity, cannot socialize well with other dogs, cannot ride in a car, cannot be taken out in public. We still work with her on her behavior and socialization and try to find things she CAN do and CAN be happy doing. i.e. I can take her on runs where there are no people and no distractions, deserted dirt trails. Everyday I feel sorry that she cannot enjoy life. Gen should either be up front about her medical history, or retire her parents, Marley and Amico. It's not right to breed dogs that cannot play or be calm enough to receive love.

We got our labradoodle pup, Juniper, from Sierra Vista about 5 months ago when he was 8 weeks old. Since getting him he has been the kindest, sweetest, most loving dog. He has a calm demeanor compared with other puppies his age, has been a delight to train, and is excellent with dogs, people and especially small children. He doesn't shed and has a super soft coat. Every day people stop me to ask where we got him and to comment on how sweet, adorable and charming he is. Working with Gen was a pleasure- she was kind, communicative and fair- and it was extremely clear to us when we visited that the puppies here are treated with the utmost love, care, attention and respect. We also learned a lot from her, and she was extremely available to help! We are so grateful we got our pup from Sierra Vista and highly recommend them to anyone interested!
