Ralph Shannon, the owner of the store, provided exceptional service not only to my husband and me but also to my elderly father. He went out of his way to keep the store open for us and patiently assisted us in exploring numerous chair and sectional options. Mr. Shannon's deep knowledge of furniture and genuine concern for his clients' satisfaction were evident throughout our experience. He generously provided us with fabric and leather samples to take home, making our decision-making process easier. Additionally, he showed great compassion and expertise in helping my elderly father find a recliner that was a perfect fit for his needs. Ultimately, we purchased a beautiful Braddington Young recliner and couldn't be happier. Shannon's House epitomizes honest, old-fashioned service, and Ralph Shannon is truly a gem in the world of retail.

We were looking for a Quality Living Room Sofa and Love Seat going from furniture store to furniture store. Most of all store's we went to carry imported mass produced sets that I do not see lasting long. After seeing Ralph and Shannon House, we ordered a custom made perfect Sofa and Love seat. It was a little more in cost from some we saw and around the same cost from other stores but what we had delivered was way above all our expectations and hopes. The fabric we chose matched our rugs perfectly. The Sofa and Love seat are extremely comfortable. This is furniture we will pass down to our family for generations. Thank you Ralph!!

It is a business that I could not recommend more. It is in a very unassuming location and not a major brand but that is what makes them so good. Ralph, the owner is simply amazing. I would put 100% trust in Ralph because he has been in the business for many years.We went to every furniture store in Sacramento and we would end up back at Shannon's House based on Ralph. Could we find a couch or sectional cheaper that may look like what Shannon's House offered, yes, however it was not the same or same quality. What we saw elsewhere, Shannon's house was cost comparable but way higher quality.Shannon's House and Ralph are a family business and that is what makes them great. They are not buying one item, in container loads from Asia, these are high quality American products made in America. Yes, we had a wait but well worth it! Walk in, and walk all the floors. Get with Ralph, he has amazing knowledge and he will ensure you get what is right for you. Much better than the chain stores.

Unfortunately this place didn't have the Skandia part that I was looking for, but WOW what great customer service!!!! The gentleman that I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable and VERY helpful. If I ever need something from this place of business again, this will definitely be the place I go to

We have purchased two Kincaid bedrooms sets, dinning room table and Livingroom furniture from Ralph and he has always been a joy to work with even when trying to get furniture during lockdown. We plan to go back as future needs come around.

I recently had Shannon’s House on Riverside reupholster my four kitchen chairs, a bench and three bar stools. I cannot begin to tell you how extremely helpful, kind, polite and friendly the entire staff and Mark Shannon are to work with. They have gone above and beyond to help make this process not only painless but down right enjoyable. I’m almost 68 and this five-generations company is a shining example of how all businesses should be run. Bravo, Shannon’s House. I’m looking forward to our next project! My wife and I purchased two leather recliners from Ralph Shannon in February of 2020. One of the recliners developed a problem due to a manufacturing error. I left a message for Ralph after business hours on a Friday night. I received a call back from him on the following Saturday morning. On Sunday, he sent an upholstery person to our home to pickup the damaged piece on one chair. Ralph's representative took a section of both recliners back to his shop for modifications since the same error in manufacturing was prevalent on both chairs. Both pieces were returned on Monday with corrections made and reupholstered. On Thursday Ralph arranged for an upholstery dyer to come to our home to repair the damaged leather on the one chair. The chairs are now perfect!I commend Ralph on his customer service. It is a pleasure doing business with someone who sincerely cares about his customer's satisfaction.

Great unique selection of furniture. Not the same mass produced stuff you see at all the chain stores. Ralph is super helpful, very pleasant, and low pressure. We were getting a bit tired of being tackled the second we walked in the door at other stores. Prices are reasonable and delivery was free. We bought a fantastically comfy reading chair with ottoman and a side table. Later went back for a nice glass curio cabinet. We will probably be back soon for some more great pieces.

The owner was rude and grouchy when he brought the chair that I bought. The furniture is overpriced considering its quality. After a year, the dye in the leather started to wear off after being told that it was dyed all the way through. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Ralph Shannon and the beautiful high quality furniture his store carries. He has already given me so many good suggestions, even when they might mean I wouldn't have to buy a piece of furniture to get the look I want. He's honest, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable! This is the first time I can remember ever going to a store and walking out with such a feeling of trust and respect for the individual who helped me. I can't recommend him highly enough!

Patty has not only created amazing window treatments, & head boards for me but, has also become my go to when choosing carpet and lighting. Her insight is amazing, I only wish it was contagious. Until I find internal talent in decorating, Patty and team are my go to even when I renovated my backyard they were there to design.
