We got to the store, and waited for the Slacker that works there the amble back in the store. I confessed that I knew nothing about the sport and asked for his help. Initially, he was moderately helpful and answered a few specific questions with a tone indicating 'I can't wait ait to stop talking with you newb'. The website has a "lessons" link, so I thought they may be able to suggest a weight based on seeing my kid throw one. When I asked if he could watch my kid throw one al he said was "nope"; not 'sorry we don't do that', or 'we don't have any practice discs' or anything that would be considered customer service. I pointed out that I asked because the website had a link for lessons, and he again said "nope". I asked if the website wrong, and I got nothing. I showed him the website, and instead of acknowledging the link is there, he shrugged. He gave the impression he couldn't care less the business he is representing has a mistake on the site, or if he sold anything to me. Because he initially did make an effort, and I want to support small businesses, I decided to go through with the transaction. He didn't give me a receipt and when I called back, he didn't know how to retrieve it for me, but could ask the owner. I asked him to mention the website says they do lessons, and his response was "I don't think it will make any difference". He wasn't necessarily rude but just completely oblivious regarding customer service, and when I expressed annoyance, he demonstrated less empathy than a bag of rocks.

These guys act like they hate themselves, but hate their customers even more. Do not waste your time going in, especially for lost discs as they are actively trying to hide them to resell. No semblance of respect or accountability from the guys running Final 9 at shady atm.

The guys running this shop has always been nice and helpful. The course is always well maintained, if there's a storm they clean it up within the week. Pin positions are always accurate, the store has a wide variety of selections for disc or bags, relatively market priced. Yes you can buy disc online for cheaper, but you have to pay S&H as well as wait, like cartman, come on come onnnn! Anyways, I'd recommend shady oaks to anyone with whatever skill set you have. It is a more advanced - intermediate course, they do have leagues and tournaments so make sure to check UDisc before going.

I quit buying disc here because of the workers lack of respect towards the customers! I know at least five other people who also quit buying their disc here because of the same issues. You go in there, ask a question and you get a one word responses in a crappy tone of voice! The last time I was in there, I was returning a disc that I had found. I liked the disc so I ask this guy named Bruce if they had any on stock that I could purchase. He looks at me and says rudely ( if we have them they'll be over there on the wall) said like a true D###! See ya! I spent over a thousand dollars on disc golf disc and apparel this year none of it at this shop sorry! Get some better customer care!!!

Nice little store, I’m only giving them four out of five because the prices at the Rockland store are so much better than this one, which is strange because they’re both final nine stores. Either way if you show up to the course and you’re missing a disc, this is a nice store to go into and pick one up!

There is such a huge selection in discs. So much nicer than buying online because you can actually feel the discs. The employees are always so knowledgeable and willing to help me find something that would be right for me. Great for beginners that don’t know anything about the flight numbers. Plus they have snacks and drinks for before you go out and play.

A fantastic pro shop with knowledgeable staff. This has been my go to place for anything disc-golf related. The amount of disc selection is staggering! Mostly new, though they sometimes have used discs for sale.This trip found me looking for a new bag - they had every brand I saw online at competitive prices. Was able to see them in person and ended up buying two (one for me and another for my wife).

I’m in Idaho and called this place, needing help identifying a disc. Spoke to Jack and he was so helpful to me, a random person, who just needed some help. The disc was identified and I was able to get the disc I needed. With this much knowledge and kindness from this employee, I have no doubt this is the best place in the area to go to select the best disc for what you need. Thanks Jack!!!

I don't get out to this area much in my own time. However, I do get to deliver here from time to time. I love this store!1. To work with.2. To shop at.He has an amazing selection of discs! He is also extremely knowledgeable and helpful about all of his products and the game.I never walk outta this place without learning something new and a few discs.Thanks for everything!

First time checking out this store and frisbee golf course. The course was amazing most definitely coming back to play at this frisbee golf course. However, when my buddies and I went into the store as soon as it opens, we were not greeted at all or even ask if we need help looking for anything. The worker seemed really rude towards us, maybe because we are a different race/ethnicity. I felt really uncomfortable because this has never happened to me and we even greeted the worker there. But no reply from him. Even after my buddies bought some disc and made some positive comments about the variety of disc they have there at the store, the worker still didn't even say anything back, not even a "have a nice day". Never going back to this store again. Maybe next time be more welcoming to your customers regardless of their race/ethnicity.

Guy did everything he could to try and ignore us, many racks not priced and when asked you just get a quick snap back. Wasn't helpful when inquiring about what discs to pick just kind of fumbled a response and went back on his phone. Was trying to get a family member into the sport and now they are turned off the sport, shame.
