Danny's was able to give us options the dealership did not that were far more affordable and also was able to beat the dealership diagnostic price. “I don’t have enough good things to say about this place and Steve! My Mercedes GLA250 overheated on my way to Lake Tahoe to celebrate my baby’s first birthday. I called so many mechanics and no one wanted to work on my car because is a Mercedes. I ended up bringing it to the Mercedes dealership in el dorado and they charged $288 to tell me it was my thermostat and quoted me $3100 to fix it! I almost passed out and cried. But then due to a miracle I found Dave’s on Google maps and I called in. Steve told me to bring the car right away and he quoted me almost three times less than the dealership! He was honest and understanding of my situation. He had the car ready way sooner than he initially expected (only like a day and half turn around) and the ending price was also lower than initial quote. My car is in perfect condition no more overheating and I didn’t have to go into debt for it. Steve was wonderful, he turned a very stressful situation for me into a relief (especially being a mom to a baby and dealing with this on my own) if I lived near the area I would only bring my Mercedes here for repairs! Thank you for your help Steve??????”

“Great job from Scotty's. My car was having trouble starting. Went to an auto parts store and tested my battery, they said my alternator was bad. Went to Scotty's who ran a real diagnostic and the alternator was fine, it was the battery! (don't trust the parts store!) Got a new battery and they only charged me for the battery and install. Honesty like this is how you make loyal customers. They have all my business now. SHOP LOCAL!!”

When Dave handed me my keys, he told me to have a great rest of the weekend and wouldn't charge me for the repair.
