Before using Winter Lozano CPAs to do my personal taxes, I was using one of those online DIY tax preparation solutions. Five years later, I don't know why I didn't make the switch soon. They ask the right questions and show me the best options on how to file my taxes. Even with having multiple W2s, 1099 forms, and so on, they got me covered.

We used Nicholas for the first time this tax season and received excellent service and information, just the opposite of what my wife and I received from our previous accountant. He was thorough, detailed, and clarified some tax laws to us of which we were unaware. We plan on using Nicholas for our taxes for the foreseeable future, we appreciate his attention to detail!

Avoid this place at all costs. I hired Nicholas in December to help me with payroll for my S-corp and prepare my tax return, but I only just found out last week that he did not do the payroll paperwork at all and missed the deadline. And when I tried to ask him about it, he did not respond to my first couple of emails and phone calls and only when I called him the 3rd time did he admit that he didn't do it. I would never have found out about that if I didn't ask. He didn't even apologize or give an explanation. He appeared very disorganized to me, and I felt like he was a poor communicator- I always had to ask him what needed to be done instead of him giving me direction since I don't know much about the whole business tax process. I ended up choosing a different accounting firm which has been much more helpful.

I worked with Alex for the first time this year and had a phenomenal experience. I had sold a home, have an out-of-state rental property, and a few other nuances to my taxes and Alex not only answered all of my questions but made the entire process incredibly smooth. Professional, personable, knowledgable and supportive. Absolutely recommend working with Alex whether you have 'simple' taxes or more complex tax needs!

I was originally referred to Winter Accountancy by a reputable estate planning lawyer. Brian and their group having been doing our taxes for years now and we have always been very pleased with the results. It's nice not to have the burden of figuring out tax deductions when we trust professionals to do it for us.

Brian and his team handle all of our company's bookkeeping and taxes, we have millions of dollars in gross revenue every year, several different bank accounts (trust accounts, etc...) hundreds of transactions a month, and they do an incredible job of keeping track of everything and keeping our books balanced. They are extremely responsive and detail oriented, if there is ever an issue, they are great communicators until we get things figures out. I would highly recommend them to a business of any size that really needs to keep on top of their financials and keep it all in good shape.

It's rare when I review places, but I found this accountant through yelp so I figure I need to rate it as well. Honestly, the past reviews were correct, Nicholas is the man to go too. He was honest and educated me on a few things. 5 starts for sure. Check him out.

I was pleased with my tax return rep, Nicholas. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Even when I had extra questions after my initial meeting. He answered all my questions and I couldn't be more pleased. He will be the one I go to from now on. The yelp reviews were very accurate, I am happy I decided to check them out.

I was referred to WA by a friend of mine and started working with them for my personal and business taxes (and a few other items) in 2020. I mainly work with Nicholas and I could not be happier with his knowledge and expertise, level of care, and most importantly responsiveness. As all of us know, CPAs/Tax guys are super busy during tax season, specially the last few days before filing deadline, but even then, Nicholas made himself available for the questions I had. I also felt that although he's very knowledgeable, but he's very good with researching any new item (like PPP, etc.) and getting back to you with the best answers/recommendations.
