I need a transaxle for a Superformance, I am not local, and they are unobtainable post-pandemic. I called and explained that I am looking for one, that I'm not a prospective customer for installation, and want parts only after someone told me that he might have one under his pillow (he doesn't). V spent perhaps 20 minutes talking to me - someone who wasn't really his likely customer - about things that he had no control over, where he thought things were going, and giving advice on hardware that he didn't strictly need to give out. I found him to be a refreshingly honest and a straightforward person that I'd be happy to do business with (If I weren't able to do much of what he does mechanically myself). If you're NOT a mechanical person and need services from someone who is, my call is that this person probably gets out of bed intending to do right by others and isn't a hustler - your mileage may vary. V - thanks for being a good sport and taking calls from folks like me about the RBT drought. You have my very best wishes. If I were local, I'd drop off a case of beer just to say thank you, but I'm in SF, so there's my hat tip to you here on the yelperdoodle. - KW

Can not recommend them enough! Always so warm and friendly, and honest! Been coming to them for years and they never EVER try to up-sell frivolous repairs or unnecessary additional charges. They're very communicative and charge appropriately.

Place still sucks. No customer service at all. Guess he's rich and doesn't need customers so he can blow us off. Oh well. Thank God this isn't the only repair shop.

Not your normal auto shop, this is a unique experience. They always go out of their way to get you what you need, and not what you don't, and at a fair price. It's a "when you're here, your family" kind of feel.

Gentleman I spoke with refused to even assist with general information stated' if its a car in his shop he'll spend time talking or working but he doesn't give advice" so I guess you have to pay before you get customer service or decency. I would've paid for service if conversation got that far, but I'll never do business now
