Prices are lower then you'd expect, about the same as online for most items. They have a nice 1\28 scale track but you can only run Kyosho Mini-z's on it which is a shame.

Good stuff there. Asked for some help to get a part and directed me to ebay. Cool if you want to buy new stuff. Not so great if you're looking for older stuff.

Ultimate is the way to go, the best hobby shop in OC hands down. Everyone is friendly, always helpful and very knowledgeable in the hobby. Buying online isn’t as gratifying as buying in person and ultimate has a wide variety of rc whether its on-road, off-road or up in the air. Support your local hobby shop!!

If you are looking to get support for, or purchase, RC cars or planes, this is the place to go. What is key here is the team of highly experienced people that can answer all questions, provide parts on site, and handle repairs. They are a great resource for Traxxas vehicles, among other brands. You can feel safe with these guys as you are in good hands.

Very kind staff and helped me with buying the right model with the right charger and transmitter AND battery. Has a test track I'm pretty sure where you can test you R.C cars. (check with staff) Has a variety of R.C models such as Planes Cars Tanks and Boats. R.C planes are perfect for all skill levels and has a variety of models, batteries, chargers, and transmitters. Ultimate hobbies has awesome action figures and unbuilt and built models for all ages. My #1 Favorite hobby shop!!

After browsing various online shops for Tamiya hobby paints and being disappointed by needing to place several orders to get all the paints i needed, I decided to make the drive and checked this place out. Upon arriving, i was excited to find a wide selection of tamiya paints/supplies in stock, plus a ton of model cars and a huge selection of gundam models from HG to PG. Prices seemed to be in-line with internet prices, which is always great to see. Supporting a local business + not having to pay shipping/wait for shipping is a huge win in my books!

Bought a used nitro RC car, Young guy there told me the engine was no good, dont bother putting money into it, gave it to a friend, friend got it running and is still using it. Bought another Near new RC car with 10 minutes of run time, went in to get some accessories knowing this car runs and operates properly, Same young guy behind the counter told me my new car had a bad engine and will never run because it has no compression, I literally ran it 2 hours before coming into their shop, and ran it after leaving their shop. The guys over 30 seem to know their stuff, The young kids there dont seem to know the right things and will tell you wrong information. I now will only go there to buy nitro if I have to.
