Derek A. The assistant manger told me , since I made a mistake on the dros form twice that I had one more chance. I have bought numerous guns from here. This Turners in Orange. Guys there always so friendly and knowledgeable. It's why I keep going back. However, Derek told me I had one more chance to fill it out. The first time it's because he could not read my handwriting..even though it's the same handwriting I've used for my numerous other purchases. I think it was near closing and he wanted to go home or something. Three attempts and that's it (forr one wrong box check). That's Derek's power trip rule..not Turners or the state of California. Poor little guy had no patience like all the other guys there. Loved going there. What does the manger think about little Derek's lack of patience ending up in me asking for my money back and no gun sale? What kind of employee and customer service is this. And in front of many customers. I will never go back there, except to say bye to all the guys I've come to know through the years. I will also tell my friends of this guys lack of professionalism.

I walked in at 6:35pm, the gentleman behind the desk said, We are closing soon so hurry up, and the gun counter isn't taking any more customers. I said ok, turned around and walked out.
I wasn't coming in to look at or purchase a firearm, I use another business for those needs, as Turners has a higher markup than other retailers. All I wanted was some cardboard targets. With 25 minutes until close, thats plenty of time for anyone to walk around, make a selection and pay for it.
Turners needs to train their employees on customer service. I like to see and feel a product before I purchase, but from now on, all my accessories will be purchased elsewhere. Turners has lost mine, my families and friends business.

I frequent the Norwalk Ca store and they are great. The workers in each area know what they are selling and can answer most questions, baring the crazy or personal stuff, and the prices are pretty good. Better if you sign up for emails and club offers.

Nice store good selection of items I went there to buy a firearm. If purchasing the firearm or ammo be prepared for a wait even with a good supply of employees the paperwork process really bogs down the speed of transactions

Retail chain store carrying equipment, accessories, and apparel for hunting, shooting, and fishing. They are located in a small shopping plaza off N Tustin St with ample parking.
They are pretty bare bones inside but the firearm counter is almost always busy. Transactions take forever even though service is nice. If you're looking to purchase a firearm and take your FSC exam, prepare to be stuck here for 3 hours...likely even longer on the weekends. They could definitely use more staff!

Purchased a gun, purchased specs, all with my California ID but I couldn’t purchase ammo because I didn’t have a real ID which doesn’t even take effect until May 7th 2025!

TERRIBLE customer service. Shop at Ammo Brothers or a different location. 30 people inline and only 3 people behind the counter. Online records for their store are not accurate either. Waited in line for 1.5 hours on Saturday to find out sorry we don't have what it says we have. Great customer service!!! Won't buy anything else from here.

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I recently purchased a firearm and due to a name change, it makes the process more time consuming. The staff were very understanding and helpful.

Purchased a gun/layaway on 3/2 since it was not in stock, was told it will be ready for 5-7 days, it is now 4/3 and still nothing yet.

I generally forget to write a review but the staff at orange are great, Jeff and the managers (sorry if I’m leaving someone out) are just Bar-none the best to handle fireArm transactions. They come to work happy and know how to talk to a customer who knows about arms to a customer who is inquiring for the 1st time, would recommend this location!

I've been calling for over a week trying to purchase a shotgun. It's been a back and forth. I went in in-person and wasted 3+ hours of watching eyes rolling and condescending answers from the gun counter to be told that I must order online. I try to order online and it tells me to go into the store. When I call they hang up on me. I ask for a manager he hangs up on me.
I lost patience and asked why the F they keep back and forthing just please tell me what is in stock as a semi auto 12g. CALIFORNIAcompliant , SIMPLE as that! He hangs up on me! Knowing exactly what I want or even asking what's available gets me treated poorly! Definitely other places to buy a gun!

Man I swear Turners needs some serious customer service skills. I had someone help me do the Dros this morning and they were fine up to the last end where they just pawned me off to someone else because I was trying to get a print out of my balance when I pick up my hellcat. I just spent $700 on a firearm and $300 a holosun red dot. His co worker even made a weird look like oh ok. "I'm busy too, but I'll help him after. Later in the evening I call about another Holosun, the 507k green dot. The person that answered the phone was rude as fuck. I'm hella polite and just asking if they have it in stock or if I can make a return when I have time. Mind you I'm at work. I'm just asking so I don't waste time going down. Anyways I'll pick up my gun and do my best to not go back. Ryan the manager was cool with me. For me to even write this review here at work. It pissed me off. 1 star for sell my consignment gun and 1 star for Ryan.
