“I worked with Kevin. He tuned the COBBB map for my 2018 WRX. It's a relief after tunning, my car feels as smooth as butter. I throttle up to 6 to 7000 rpm without a tiny struggle. My DAM dropped down to. 875 a couple times but Kevin had no problem responding to my issue and re-tuned my car to where it settled. I don't mind coming back to work on my car in the future.”

“I need a transaxle for a Superformance, I am not local, and they are unobtainable post-pandemic. I called and explained that I am looking for one, that I'm not a prospective customer for installation, and want parts only after someone told me that he might have one under his pillow (he doesn't). V spent perhaps 20 minutes talking to me - someone who wasn't really his likely customer - about things that he had no control over, where he thought things were going, and giving advice on hardware that he didn't strictly need to give out. I found him to be a refreshingly honest and a straightforward person that I'd be happy to do business with (If I weren't able to do much of what he does mechanically myself). If you're NOT a mechanical person and need services from someone who is, my call is that this person probably gets out of bed intending to do right by others and isn't a hustler - your mileage may vary. V - thanks for being a good sport and taking calls from folks like me about the RBT drought. You have my very best wishes. “My son is attending college in the Orange County area and experienced an issue with his 4Runner not wanting to shift into gear. Long story short, after two other repair shops took a look at it (with one recommending a complete rebuild of the transmission and transfer case for $3,200), I called Frank from St. Louis and even though he's extremely busy he took the time to travel to the location where my son's 4Runner was taken to and try to diagnose what the issue was. In the end he disconnected and reconnected the battery and reset the electronic controls and I'm happy to report it's back on the road again. Frank would accept nothing for his time and claimed not to have done anything. Now I haven't met him in person, but if you happen to bring your vehicle to him for service, please thank him personally for me when also showing him the appreciation for treating you the same way. Hard to find today. Thanks Frank!”
