Today after work I decided to stop and get gas, conveniently there was a shell gas station down the street, I stop there and pump $25. I leave, but I got this funny feeling after leaving so I checked my bank. Low and behold, $72 charge on my card for gas at this shell, I turn around to go and ask why I was charged that amount. Upon returning, the clerk or manager was outside and said he'd be right with me (he was outside cleaning and the door to go inside was locked), I show him the charge on my account and ask why I was charged that amount after only paying $25. His response was that I'd have to take it up with my bank, I held my ground and continued to question why I was charged that amount, then he said and I quote " its just pending, it'll be back in 1-2 days". I explain to him that I don't have 1-2 days and that its an inconvenience to have to wait for my money to be back in my account because I did not spend that amount, he restated that its just pending and will be back in 1-2 days so I asked for a receipt for the $25 I paid on the pump and informed him that I will be disputing the charge and left. Less than 5 minutes later, I check my bank and the money is back in my account. I find it suspicious that after I went in to confront him my money was instantly back on my card even after him stating that it would be 1-2 days. Something about the whole situation is suspicious, not sure if the charge was a pre-authorization charge but I've never seen a preauthorization charge for that amount on gas. Please check your bank statements before leaving this gas station, I really hope they aren't taking peoples hard earned money, the whole situation ruined my night. I will not being going back here.

"It's the dismal tide." -Cormac McCarthy I paid approx. $7 cash for gas here. (One of the simplest transactions.) I walked out of the store front & all the way back to the pump. I began pumping. I noticed the pump going over the amt. I paid. I had to walk back to the store and say: "What is happening with the pump?" The owner/mgr. then stopped the pump; at this point $17 worth of gas had been pumped. The man running the storefront offers very little in terms of apology, explanation, or really made any effort to mitigate what happened. He simply said: "You have to pay $10 more." I cannot think of the last time I've had to walk back into a gas store front after handing the cashier cash, stating the pump, and the exact amount. I then asked to pay the difference with a card, and the cashier insisted I pay with cash. I have never had that happen. I don't take issue with the mistake or the confusion that occurred. I do take issue with the complete lack of tact, soft skills, and general impoliteness on the part of the staff and mgmt. here. I suggest looking elsewhere for gas/services. Avoid this business. If anything occurs in terms of mistake/confusion, or misunderstanding, you'll likely experience little tact and whatever the opposite of customer service looks like. Stay away.

I tried to go to orange hand car wash but the line was too long so I thought to just do a quick drive thru and vacuum my car myself. It was THE WORST car wash- didn't even dry the water AND left a white residue of water drops all over my car. I let the store clerk know I think the dryer is broken and his response is my car to be soaking wet is normal don't waste your money here!!!

Car wash doesn't come with soap. If you pay for the basic package according to the guy working the register, it doesn't come with soap. Even when i pointed out the sign says wash, rinse, and dry. He said "nosoap". I asked him when he washes his clothes, does he use soap? What a joke, I'll never go back again.

This place is awesome The cheapest carwash in Orange County. I have solar panels on the roof of my van and this is the only car wash that doesn't blow them completely off the top of my vehicle.

I've been going to this Shell Gas Station / Car Wash for about a year. Never had a problem like the one yesterday (6/26/21). Filled up my tank and requested a $8.00 car wash. Waiting about 45 minutes in line. When I finally got in I noticed the lights to guide you in were not working properly. There was no green light to tell you to enter. I entered anyway and the red light came on to let me know when to stop. The machine came on and sprayed the soap. When the rubber rollers were supposed to start nothing happened and then the green light came on telling me to exit. I sat there for awhile hoping it would start working and after about 5 minutes I drove out and went to the office. The guy working (I didn't get his name) was very rude, condescending, and told me I should have known better than to expect the lights to work. He said they are always like that and have been that way forever. Kept saying I should know better and wanting to argue with me. I told him he was crazy and asked for a credit for another car wash. He did give me one. Had to ask for my receipt back. Once I use my credit I will never go back again. That guy is nuts!!!!!

Guy late at night purposely takes his time so that you can leave before he can help you. Complained about it to him and he gave me less gas than I paid and refused to come back to the door.

This gas station offered affordable gas and a great service to their customers. They are very pleasant to approach with. It was my first having them and will always have them the next time I pass by.
