I just got my new 2023 Silverado from Selman Chevrolet, My salesman George Barreiro and Finance Manager Mori Mousall did a Great job for me through the purchase and recommend them highly! I only gave a 4 star rating because the truck was not delivered to me in the condition I was used to by other dealers. I did go back and talk to the Sales manager and they cleaned up the rest that was needed to make me happy!!Robert S

when I showed up. 5-6 service specialists were on lunch and refused to call someone to help me. when I bought a part from the Parts department, the guy had the attitude like he didn't want to be there. the cashier had a whatever attitude. I dealt with better customer service at Paradise Chevrolet in Ventura and Connell Chevrolet in Costa Mesa

Buying a car from the dealership was a great experience. The service department however is beyond awful. It is disorganized and the follow through and communication is terrible. They broke my axel once and sent me home with it three times before I insisted that someone get in my vehicle and drive it over a certain speed. After that they told me it was awful and finally took me serious, I was 5 months pregnant at the time. It's really unfortunate because I did enjoy driving my vehicle, but I will never own a Chevy again.

George was so helpful with our initial trip to Selman Chevrolet. My husband and I were considering the Tahoe or the Suburban for our growing family. With George's help, we were able to select a Suburban for our next family's car. Thank you George for all of your help.

Shout out to Jason Holley! Love my 2024 Camaro 2SS1LE. Jason is the nicest and down to earth salesman I've ever met. While every Cheverolet dealer gave me the run around Jason never pushed or ignored my needs. Selman staff have been exceptional. Jason made the impossible happen. I've waited a year to purchase a car on various wait lists. Jason offered to build my car to order and when Cheverolet stopped taking customized orders as the UAW strikes happened, he managed to track down a Camaro for me to my liking and specifications. One month after wanting a Camaro it's here and I love it! Thanks Selman and thanks Jason!!!

Dropped my car off on Saturday morning without an appt. I was understanding that it was busy and they may not get to it the same day and willing to take the car home with me to make an appt. The guy that helped me said they would get to it and at least let me know what was going on with it the same day. Never called me so on Monday I called and spoke with someone at 8am to know what was going on. No call back so I called again in the afternoon. No call back so I go physically. Finally I find out the car will be ready tomorrow. When I get home I have a message from the same guy saying the car is ready. I get back to the place and see my rep who seems to be ignoring me so I see cashier. Car is not under my name. Go back to rep who tells me the name. I get paper to give to someone to get my car but no one is available. The only positive is the lady who found me wandering around looking for my car to help me. That's why this review has two stars. I wrote and reread this entire review after she radioed asking someone to get the car. I am still waiting for my car.Edit: I took the car in for two reasons 1. to fix a driving issue and 2. To have something installed on the car that the manufacturer didn't. Only one of the two was done.

Went in yesterday with my husband around 5:30, walked around the lot before heading inside to find a salesman to help us out! We were determined to leave there with a new truck and we did! The whole process took about 2-3 hours and Francisco was the friendliest salesman we could have asked for! He made the process easy, explained everything and was truthful about all the fees/taxes included in the sale. So thank you Francisco! Shout out to Wayne as well for being one of the nicest finance people I've ever met! You can very much feel the family owned atmosphere because they didn't pressure us or push us to buy anything, everyone was super nice! Will definitely come back again and recommend anyone looking! Ps. Loving our new 2023 Silverado!

The lady at the front desk in the dealership show room was rude to me. She had a huge attitude and talked down on me. She did minimal effort and didn't want to help me in any way. She spoke slowly to me, rolled her eyes, and laughed at me.... I just came from another dealership and the lady there was rude as well...I'm not sure what's going on but they need better customer service. Not 1 sales person was in sight. Not very good for a car dealership trying to sell cars... the show room floor smelled like wet dog and there's no parking. I found one spot next to the used cars and an employee parked there truck behind me blocking and ignored me, didn't move when I was backing up so I had to wait and go around... ridiculous

Wow. Just purchased a 2024 Silverado 2500 HD. My salesman was Casey and Wayne was the finance guy. I've purchased many vehicles over the years and in fact this is my 5th Silverado. (I've been looking for this particular vehicle for about 5 months.). The whole transaction was a great experience and neither Casey or Wayne exerted any "pressure" during the entire process. Casey was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He didn't try to pressure me into anything...it was simply business. Wayne (finance guy) was clearly experienced and gave me a very good deal on the warranty that I purchased. I initially went to the dealer that I purchased my last 3 Silverados from and they would not budge on insisting that I buy door edge protectors, windshield insurance and something else that added up to about $4k. Casey and Selman Chevy didn't try to force me to buy ANY of those things. I would have walked away if they did. If you try to buy a Silverado 2500 HD from just about any dealer in the LA or San Diego area now, you'll find that they are all marking them up from $3-5k over MSRP. NOT the case at Selman. There was zero, zip, nada markup. None. That was the final deal maker for me. I don't know why this isn't advertised on their website. I'm 58 years old and I've bought a lot of cars...and I love the Chevy brand. Selman is my new dealership even though it's a bit of a drive from my home.
