We purchased the extended service plan on our $6000 Mr. Slim split AC that was installed by Sears 5 years ago and was almost always not working. This summer it worked for three days. It's still dead. They come to the house every two months and get it to work for a few days. Time to throw it out and start over.

Was walking in the store another employees just stare at me and left didn't see him again, so frustrating cause I knew what I wanted and was gonna pay cash all I needed was a damn fridge, never coming back, their lose!!!

Sears is not all that bad. It's been around since earth became a planet. We all shopped at sears at least once in our lives. It's considered a legend and soon it to would be forgotten. So We should show some gratitude to the store that in one way or another shaped our lives. Call it deep if you like but, it's true facts. Some comments and reviews are nonsense and the expectations are unreal. These yelpers are a bit too much and a bit bipolar because of your having a shitty day and Decides to go shopping only to feel like everyone is out to s*** in your cereal (bad energy) and so you decide to Yelp about the business and how awful you were treated that one time. Little did you know it was most likely you walking around with a negative attitude or your b*#ch resting face. All other times you've shopped at the same store and had no problems but you forget to yelp a good review. Let's be a little more cautious people (reviewers) before you turn a great idea like (yelp) to a dead source because you killed it for all of us. Sooner then you think they will close down all retail stores and be only online due to your over the top expectations. Bet when guests visit you at your home or work place your hospitality is't near 100? Right? It's impossible to be on 24/7 (happy with a smile) this ain't Disneyland snowflakes.

Stopped in yesterday, so many incredible deals for the holidays! So surprised in the variety, stock, styles and the staff. If you think Sears is going down hill think again or better yet, get in on the action here. Almost everywhere was a 30% off priced marked sale. Let's join the Brady Bunch and shop at SEARS! Love it! Will be back!!

If I could give 0, I would. No surprise you all averaged to 2 stars on them, and that Sears is not doing well. Full transparency: I worked there in early college years to finance my education. I only bought 1 major appliance at a closeout sale for $1500 in Feb '18. Others came from another store with initials BB. My gripe: in Mar '18 their delivery person wasn't able to install water line for ice maker, etc upon delivery due to my corroded connection. He required that I have a plumber replace the corroded valve. I procrastinated. In Sept '18, I pd $150 for plumber to replace valve and hook up water line for ice maker, etc. He refused to install 'cheap' Sears water line. Same week, Sears Tustin won't return $10.95 water line because I procrastinated on getting plumbing work done, over 30 days after purchase of $1500 refrigerator. Craziness! I guess if they cared that much, the delivery person would've been able to change the corroded valve and hook up water line they sold me, as planned and paid for, rather than require I call a plumber and spend $150 more dollars.

We walked in the store and were greeted immediately by two associates. My wife and I needed a dryer and already knew which one we wanted. Sears associate named Heath got us squared away with our new appliance and set up for delivery without wasting any time. Now, a few days later the dryer is up and running and the old one was hauled away. Yup Sears you still earn my business for large items and appliances. Thanks for keeping it simple and straightforward.

I bought a Kenmore refrigerator from Sears 8 months ago and have had nothing but problems with one of doors. It us not closing properly, therefore motor keeps turning on and I've had food spoilage since then. I have called for repair and three times they gave sent repairman that don't know anything about repairing my refrigerator door. As of this day, my refrigerator doesn't work and Sears will not exchange it refund any of my money. Please don't buy any appliances from Sears because all they do is give you the run around with bvb the warranty until it expires and you are stuck with a lemon. N ou w I have to purchase another refrigerator! I'm sick of Sears warranty Department and their appliance repair service.

DO NOT purchase Sears warranty plans on appliances. It will be a major headache dealing with Sears Home Services dept. For some reason the supervisors are afraid to speak to customers in order to resolve a month old issue. To end the misery I decided to purchase a new washer from one of their competitors and NEVER purchase anything from them again. Before I couldn't understand why Sears was going out of business now I realize their overall customer service can be horrible. Good bye Sears!

Upper management is a big mess and it's no wonder why Sears is going down the hill. Employees don't get paid much and some of them look lethargic and unmotivated. I don't really blame them because at some point they were energetic until their positive spirits slowly declined over time. It's probably due to the gloomy empty setting in the store. Man power is always low and it's hard to find someone for assistance. This wasn't Sears I used to know back in the 90s and earlier. It's really sad how one of the largest American retail companies are nearing at its end.

I shopped at Sears Department Store in, The Mall of Orange 2100 N. Tustin St. in Orange, ca. The place as clean and they were having the Memorial Day Sale. The cashier was super friendly. When Diana and I go shopping we always draw a large crowed even at restaurants. I could not take indoor photos. I went to the mattress department to look for pillows so I could elevate my legs while sleeping. Then I found the firmness I wanted, they were Sealy premium pillows. The regular price was $89.99 each but the sale price was $77.99 or $12 off. I bought two and I opened a Sears Credit Card $60 more off the bill, what a deal! Saved $84 on two pillows, part of the pillow was made in the USA! Robert H.

I went to the jewelry department to get a communion necklace. I was not sure what I was looking for. Natalie was very approachable and went above and beyond her customer service! (As she always does when I go: not the first time I go.) She is super friendly and patient and funny! I was able to get exactly what I was looking for and couldn't have been any happier! Ask for Natalie when you go, you will not be disappointed!

My opinions: Stay away. Stay as far away as you can! Run and do not look back. Buy no appliances from Sears. Here is why: In the summer of 2017, we bought a refrigerator from Sears, for about $2,500, after being told how great it was. Turns out it only produced about 6 ice-cubes every 90 to 120 minutes. They tried to take care of the problem but could not. Why? Because this is normal operation for the unit. So, we were told, essestially, that was that. So we had to buy ice from the store if we wanted it. Imagine how cheated I felt after giving them $2,500! But, finally, after additional visits - because we kept calling for someone to come out again - the Sears repair person diagnosed that, if I understand correctly, the condenser was not functioning properly and was able to cure that problem. Mysteriously, it now makes more ice than ever. While the condenser cure fixed the ice issue the point to note is we were told 6 cubes every 90 to 120 minutes was how the system worked - all very normal as distinguished from you need to be returning this refrigerator.... Previously, the Sears sales person told me how great a water saving washer and matching dryer would work. I told them that I was worried about the washer because it did not have an agitator. They replied that the solution of poorly performing water-saving washers, without agitators, had been fixed. So, even though these items were expensive, I trusted them and purchased the pair. Sadly, our clothes have to be washed more than once if we want to ensure that they do not smell. Plus, all the whites turn gray. Once again, how cheated I feel after giving Sears my hard-earned money. If you are misguided enough to purchase one of their extended warranties, then get ready to wait about 2 weeks for service. Then, hope they have the part or you will be waiting even longer. I will never buy from this company again. My expectation is that Sears is on the way out. Do not become one of their final victims.
