I went here not knowing what to expect--lost, desperate, in need of a fresh set of nails! I stumbled into this cozy house, wondering who, when, where, what.. all these questions, unanswered. I then met the eyes of a woman with the type of eyes that are just filled with kindness, a smile overflowing with comfort and empathy, and a poise just too elegant to bear! I asked for a simple, yet cute, set of nails. She looked at it once, glanced back at me, and gave me a reassuring nod. "Yes, very nice. I can do." I almost cried tears of relief! I sat down and instantly she went to work. I was told that the price of the nails would be not $100, not $80, but $50! I was shocked and overwhelmed with joy. She filed my nails and immediately lulled me to sleep. It was so relaxing, I couldn't help but close my eyes and relax! I felt my shoulders drop their tension, my muscles let loose, and a smile form on my face. After just a short hour, I looked down at my nails and gasped at the sight of such beauty. *gasping sound effect* I was so happy and ecstatic that I couldn't speak! I opened my mouth and nothing but squeals came out. She then offered me an eyebrow wax; her comment about my bushy eyebrows was short and blunt, but very much appreciated. Who knew people could tell I didn't pluck them often? Anyway, I was running short on time so I was hesitant, but she lured me in with the words, "5 minutes" and "10 dollars"... I then understood that I was in heaven. I sat back down and let her do her thang. A few minutes later, I looked fabulous! Joyous and feeling beautiful, I thanked her, hugged her, and paid her her much deserved tip. I blew her a kiss out of appreciation and respect and promised I would right her this review to expand her business and promote her incredible work. Thank you, Julie, you deserve a raise!!

Stay away from this salon…They ruined my hair.I came in for highlights and a long layered trim cut. When I walked into the salon the customers complimented me on how beautiful my long hair was.I made the mistake looking down on my phone on Instagram while she was cutting my hair and then I noticed how the Salon got real quiet and so I looked up and saw that the stylist was cutting my hair with thinning scissors. I asked her what are you doing? She said that my hair is too thick. I never told her to thin it out. All I wanted was a v cut. As soon as I realized what she was doing I told her to stop!I was ready to cry and you can only imagine the mad look on my face as I looked down at the floor and saw how much hair she cut off.I also don’t appreciate how she had the audacity to be so unapologetic. She even implied that I should look at the bright side because I won’t need a haircut for a while and I will be saving money. She even had the nerve to use my religion to manipulate me. I was wearing a cross and she said, “You’re Christian Right?”and because faith is important I chose not to make a scene. That’s why I paid her $280.00for my hair which looked all jacked up and the highlights don’t even stand out.Because of this horrible experience I’m considering reporting her to the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.Be sure to look at the pictures that I have provided showing how it’s not a v cut and it’s not even. I provided before and after and you can see how dark my is now

not good , I have had Brazilian hair treatments over 15 times , this was terrible , I wish I never went there ... they do not know what they are doing beware ... My hair looked better before I went there .... Not a good place , Worst Place I have ever been ...

I Went in for a trim the lady asks me if I want a wash I said no then she said well have to wash hair so she takes me back continually touching and thomping on my neck and head VERY ROUGH Handled WHIPPING ON ME WITH HER HAND AND Towel I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE I WENT IN FOR A TRIM AND FELT LIKE I WAS BEING ABUSED MY MY MOTHER WHEN I WAS YOUNG VERY RUDE AND HOSTILE ABUSIVE ATTITUDE SHE DID NOT WANT TO DO HER JOB VERY DISCUSTED. I got my daughter’s nails done here and almost instantly regretted it. They charged $50, didn’t ask me (the parent) to approve any extras that she was up-selling my daughter. and also did some kind of painful skin excavation that caused her toe to bleed and pain for a week just before a vacation. Then (when I paid cash) she tried to keep the change assuming a tip (which is something I don’t like in general. The woman who helped us was named Julie and just not very friendly or nice to begin with. We definitely won’t be going back.

Tan is experienced and quick. Not your newly graduates from salon schools. Able to get an appointment easily. However they recently increased their rates and they do charge for using credit card so bring cash!
