Really nice lady at the cash register, but I never heard of a business cutting hours during a holiday. Usually hours are increased and even hire Temps. The store was a mess with boxed merchandise. I ordered Xmas presents online not knowing it wouldn't get pulled until 3-4 days later. So I had to run to the store and pull my own order. I couldn't find one of my items I bought "online" for pickup and although online it says in stock, I was told it was probably in one of the many boxes in the aisles still needing unpacking. I'm used to my online pickup orders at other stores being ready in an hour or two at the most. So to be advised after my purchase that the delay in processing due to the holidays was 3-4 days was unexpected and had I known prior to my purchase I would not have made the purchase.

Picking up small order that was marked ready two days previous. Order not ready when I arrived. It took them 45 minutes to get the five items ready!!!!

Just wanted to give a shout out to the lone cashier (glasses, tall, long brown hair in a low pony tail) who was working her TAIL off this afternoon with great customer service! I could tell she was stressed due to no other associate assisting at the registers while the line was growing, so props to her and only her.Do better with your scheduling, Joann! This is definitely not the time of year to be cutting associates’ hours.

WONDERFUL customer service, can't thank them enough. But cutting employee hours right at Black Friday? I was in the checkout line for over a half hour because they only had one cashier the poor dear. Keep your stores staffed at the busiest times of the year!

We were browsing for some Halloween crafts at the end of the night, right up until closing, but nobody was pushing us out of the store. They had lots of Halloween decorations that I had never seen before and on sale. And when we went to check out, Salvador at the register helped me save over half on my purchase by showing me where to find multiple coupons on the website. He was so kind and so patient and made our night that we were able to save some money. Looking forward to coming back!

Patricia who works here is completely rude to customers. I come to this store often and spend lots of time and money here. She does not know anything about customer service. She has been rude on multiple occasions and treats customers like they are unconvincing her. While waiting at the cut counter today, there were multiple guests who had questions and she would not multitask (cutting fabric and answering questions) instead I offered to help the other guests with questions. The employees did not acknowledge or thank us for helping anyone even though it is not our job. The lady who sells the sewing machines in the store couldn't answer one guests question that was a simple question anyone with a machine should know. There was only one person (patricia) cutting fabric and a line of people waiting with multiple fabrics to be cut. Because of prior interactions we already knew we would be chastised for asking her to help us with our fabric. Please give her a course on good customer service. the customer is always right!

I've been sewing for fifty plus years and use to work in a fabric store. I find Joanna to be very corporate with staff that are over worked and underpaid; cheap fabrics made of polyesters and no natural fiber fabrics other than over dyed quilting cottons and linen blends. And in Southern California why have loads of flannels and fleece? When you get fabric cut they go from one cut end exactly to the other, never allowing a small margin to take into account an uneven end! That drives me nuts. The patterns are not properly stocked (that is to be my fav job at the fabric store) so there are patterns put out of order or the new pattern book without the new patterns in the drawers. And you have to figure out which coupons work and wait in long lines to check out because everyone else is trying to figure the coupon thing out too! I only go here for patterns and the odd notion - rarely for fabric anymore. I get zips, thread and buttons on Etsy or eBay instead! Sad that Joanna has put the little fabric shops like I worked at out of business.

I've been to this location a couple of times now, and I've had great experiences both times.The staff is patient t and very helpful. Their store is well stocked and kept very clean. I will be back soon!

Everything was going great, I found the baskets I needed for a good deal.. I grab some floral arrangements also.. this is where my good day comes tumbling down.. I place my items on the counter n the cashier says"ur taking all 3 right??" with attitude... m like yeah, as if I was trying to steal one or something.. the only reason why 1 basket was inside the other 2 was for carrying purposes, nothing more... theres no cashier name or else I would call him out

the lady in the fabric counter is rude AF!! I went in here while at work with my participants who have developmental disabilities and one of my guys asked for the key to the restroom and she assumed he was homeless and started telling him in front of customers in a rude and loud way that she didn't want him to go in there and change or to "wash up" and she was only giving him 5 minutes and giggled with the customers she was helping. WTF!?
