This is one of those old school neighborhood stores which is actually a pretty good size store with lots of products to offer. I only dropped by to purchase our office pool Lottery tickets. The cashier and assistant were both nice and helpful while they took care of my transactions.

Hoov's Market located on Glassell got my attention. It is a cute, independent liquor store that has a nice design and a fun mural on one side. Places like this give a town its local color. I needed some water, so I just got in really quick to get some. Nice selection of liquor and snacks, clean store, good customer service, I was in and out fast!

If i could give 0 stars i would... This guy was an absolute a****** sorry but ITS TRUE! I walk in and he automatically eyed me up and down, when I asked if they had handles he just snarled and pointed and I asked for a specific one and he says WELL GO GET IT! This man had no manners whatsoever! First of all, there is a nicer way to say that! Someone must hate their job... would love to see some workers who are actually nice to their customers! WILL NEVER GO AGAIN!!!! Spend your money elsewhere:)

CREEP ALERT- I went here for the first time today to grab a pack of Tylenol. The guy behind the counter noticed my clothes had paint on them and asked if I was an artist. I said I was, and as I was checking out, he proceeded to ask me what I painted. I told him Photography Surfaces, and he said he was hoping I painted naked boys and girls. I was caught off guard and said What? And he responded by saying that he would come visit me while I painted but only on naked days. Never going back- what a total creep.

Small business gets you nice business, friendly people and customer service. SMall deli but big sandwiches. The staff there is always friendly. There's no seating here, its a liquor store and a deli as the name implies.

I only go there to buy liquor, so can only review them for liquor. I stop in and buy my harder to find liquors and they always have everything that I am looking for. Highly recommended!
