The doctors are wonderful, but the administration is extremely poorly run. No one ever answers the phone, which is frustrating. You have to leave a message, and they take their time getting back to you. Also, they aren't in network with a lot of insurances.Edit: Have left 3 voicemails now over the last 2 weeks regarding a simple question. No response yet. Case in point!

They say they'll contact you regarding various things and then don't. When you call, you can't get ahold of anyone and it says to leave a voicemail or contact them on their website to be called back. I've done both and never was contacted back.

I have not even been a patient here for my daughter and I simply wanted to see if and when my appointment was and it’s been days that I been calling and they don’t ever answer . Why would anyone want to go somewhere that the communication is lacking all around ?

The doctors are great, but the front desk staff are very passive aggressive. I missed one appointment for a blood draw and they called and said they “HAD to tell my doctor I missed the appointment”(she did not care). I missed one call for the followup appointment and they left another message saying I “refused” to be seen by their clinic when in reality they never answer their phones or followed up on any of the voicemails I left.

Phone line doesn't work. Request schedule via website. Finally got a call to schedule which is in few months later. They gave CHOC address, but when the day comes since there were no explanation, I had to walk around the whole hospital to find where to go. Because they don't answer the phone, it was impossible to reach them at the time.

Writing a review as coming to this place for prenatal testing has been a hassle each time. When calling to make appointments there is no one to answer the phones only voicemails. Once at an appointment, they seem to not understand how to bill the insurance. The first time I went there they charged me out of pocket for the entire test, when I knew my insurance would cover it and I should just have a copay. I told them this and they insisted it’s not covered and I had to pay for the entire test. Then two months later I was reimbursed the money because my insurance did pay like I told them. Now, I’ve received another bill from the state for my other test I had done there. This letter states the testing place reported I had no insurance and must submit through medical. I have insurance and they did not bill my insurance it seems. Now I have to use my own time to get this bill resolved since they did not bill my insurance and wrote me down as uninsured. I won’t ever want to come back here again because they seem to not understand how to submit claims correctly. Lastly, I called to get results and they reported I can only receive through doctors office and because the test was completed over two weeks ago the results should have been sent. Once I went to my doctors office another week later and asked about the test they checked and noted that the center still had not sent the results and will have to send a request for them. It’s not a busy place, the employees seems to have down time there so I am not sure why they cannot seem to follow through correctly on any billing matters or testing results.

They never call you back. Even when you have test results waiting. Worst communication ever.

Would be much better if voicemail for pediatric department wasn't always full (I have been unable to leave messages about 3 different times). In addition, I tried the request online since I couldn't leave a message and still no one responded. The office called me over 2 weeks later probably just because I was in the system with the authorization being approved. On top of that I just received a partial refund from them and they made the check out to my daughter and not to me. Tje 5 year old didn't pay the bill. Guess I will have to call as the letter states if I have any questions, oh wait...I will say the doctors are great and very thorough, but the staffing/messaging situation is ridiculous.

Nice people. But they didn’t let my partner wait with me in the waiting room and only allowed him in for the consultation , didn’t allow in for the ultrasound or blood draw (which I passed out for) , also didn’t take blood pressure or anything before hand ??

Oof there's a lot I could say. But what I will say, moms to be if you really want to know NIPT results as soon as possible, since it will take them days to call you after the results are in - they use Labcorp for their NIPT testing. You can register an account on the Labcorp website. You will receive the results in your account on the labcorp website about 2 days after the results are sent to genetics testing center. In my case I took the test Friday afternoon, the results were sent to the genetics center Monday. I received the results on Wednesday in the Labcorp portal. I did not hear from genetics center until the following Monday(6 workdays from my test, 3 workdays after my results were ready) while I understand this is the quoted time, I wanted to know ASAP and it was nice not having to wait for them to decide to call The results on the Labcorp website were self explanatory and did not very from what the genetic counselor told us. Only caution is they include information on the gender , it's unavoidable since it's in the middle of the report.

I had a prenatal appointment here. I set up my appointment by going to their website and clicking on "Request to Schedule". I received a call to schedule my appointment the same day.The day before my appointment I called their office and had to leave a message. They called me back within the hour and were very patient and friendly. My appointment the next day was at 8am. Parking was a breeze and every single staff member I dealt with was very professional and friendly. I don't normally leave reviews for doctor offices but all of these negative reviews really surprised me so I felt compelled to share my experience. My whole appointment took less than an hour and a half. I had a perfectly pleasant experience.

The front desk here is atrocious. It seems to be the same person anytime i get through on the phone. They hardly answer and when they do, the girl that answers has the biggest attitude. I can hardly understand her as she speaks so quietly and with so much sass it's palpable through the phone. When I asked if they received information from my doctor she had said no. I called my doctor who assured me they sent it several times. When I called again I urged the girl to please diligently check any place it would be and got a response not more than 10 seconds later of "oh yeah, it's right here." The genetics counselors here are fine as far as their friendliness but I was given results and "percentage chances" for a list of things that were so off base that every doctor and professional I've talked to afterwards asks where I went for genetic counseling because they were so wrong. I wouldn't come here if you can help it. They probably wouldn't answer the phone anyway.

Their automated phone system doesn't seem to have any option for setting up an appointment. I don't know how anyone can even schedule an appointment if there is no way to get through to them.
