Galls in Orange, CA has the worst customer service of any business in any category with which I have ever dealt. The unfortunate problem is that they have a monopoly. Many public safety and state and county park employees have to get their uniforms from Galls. I've only placed two orders with them. The first order they told me, it was ready, was not. The uniform pants were not hemmed, and the patches were not sewn on the hat, or either of the two shirts, which means I wasted a trip in CA traffic and my time. The belt was the wrong size. It was labeled correctly, but was 2 inches shorter than it should've been. I've since ordered another pair of pants and a shirt. The shirt is, of course, backordered, as usual. The pants were shipped to the wrong address and are lost. And while they say it will take about two weeks to receive them in reality, it will be at least another month because that's how long it's taken to get anything ordered. If you have to use them, check and double check, sizes, addresses, and when they say it's ready, confirm every single item Has been prepared as ordered.

Absolutely horrible customer service...First they tell you your work order is going to be done within 5 days, or something simple as putting four patches on a jacket.After more than 2 weeks and an angry call to them, they miraculously got the jacket done that same day.The lack of communication between themselves and their customers is highly unprofessional and highly incompetent.

Don't waste your time coming to this location.Walked in and no greeting or acknowledgment. Two female employees were assisting one male school PD officer though, lots of giggles and friendly banter. Very typical.The staff is extremely rude, especially towards their female customers. Wanted to get fitted for some uniform shirts and the female with the colorful hair, beanie, and glasses could not be bothered with helping me at all. I had to fit and size my own shirts, which I ended up not purchasing. She had a piss poor attitude and demeanor.The employees dont have time to help customers but have plenty of time to flirt with the officers that arrive in uniform, though.

Hands down, best customer service I've ever received. Even short staffed I was helped rapidly and with urgency. The gentleman Randall was very helpful and was handling multiple orders at the same time despite like stated earlier, being short staffed. His positive attitude and calm demeanor showed in the excellent service he delivered. Definitely will be coming back for future tailor/adjustments and equipment purchases. Highly recommend.

Really frustrating. Customer service is just an abomination. Took about a month for me to get my shirt while a buddy of mine got the exact same one in store during the same week. I'm still on backorder for my nameplate after months, called multiple times, each time they simply don't put in the order. They say they do, and it just never comes. Just incompetent. Don't care about their customers at all

Went in to get some uniforms. As I walked into the store, I was greeted by a male associate. He asked if I needed help, I let him know that I need some uniforms, he asked what agency I worked for. I let him know, he turned around and asked a very rude lady if they had any of the department uniforms in which she replied we don't service your department. In shock I asked if they had any of the shirts I was looking and she continued to to say we don't service your department. I got the hint and began to walk away. As I was leaving they told me to call the riverside store. Very rude. Never again will I shop here.

Went in to get new uniforms. The guy at the front counter directed me to a lady at the back counter. She seemed bothered that he directed me to ask her for help. I presented my list of items I needed, and she pointed me over to a section in the store where the items were supposed to be. She never got up to assist. No one even offered assistance. After looking for the items for a bit, I just walked out. There weren't any other customers in the store that I could see.

My first time here was Friday & honestly I'm so happy with the service I got while shopping here. I am preparing for an EMT course starting next week and needed boots & pants to finish my uniform. A couple different people helped me with the pants initially, but Tanya was the main sales associate who stuck with me and I'm so grateful for her service. She gave me a lot of time & helped me when deciding between which fits for my pants. I'm pretty indecisive so having a helpful sales person can shave off a ton of time when I can't decide. I was also having a tough time making boots that were in stock work and she went really far out of her way to help & stick with me through the whole process (and another associate, Tina, was also really caring & helped a bit too). I was honestly really nervous coming here as I've never been to a shop like this and pretty much everyone I encountered who worked here were friendly & kind. I will definitely be coming back if I need anymore tactical gear. Tanya called me right away today to follow up on my special order and transfer. I love that she didn't forget about me as I was really stressed out over getting the rest of my uniform in time for class. I came back in right away today and was still having trouble with the fit of these boots, and Tanya came up with a solution for me to adjust them and I'm so happy & relieved because now I can relax knowing I have all the gear I need :) I actually left smiling. Really glad I came here.

Don't waste your time. Unfortunately this location is incompetent and unhelpful. For a business that primarily serves life safety personnel, the customer service here is extremely disappointing. Drive the extra hour and go to Galls LA where your orders are finished quickly and correctly.

I work for a local fire department. I live here in Orange County which is why I chose this Galls. This place is horrible. There time lines are inaccurate for uniform return, they ordered the wrong style equipment, and they seem to not care about the job. I'm going to end up making 3 trips to this location due to their incompetence. Save yourself some time and the headache go elsewhere.

I’m only giving it 5 stars because there was only one person in the store that actually helped my husband. Liz was so helpful and she went above and beyond to help my husband and his uniform order. At first, we asked Tina for help but she seemed to be on the phone making a personal call to her doctor. And I get it, but she could have made it in the back. She rolled her eyes at my husband when he asked her for help and that’s when Liz stepped in. My husband said that he’s been in there multiple times and Liz is always nice and very helpful and I see that as well. Hope that everyone could have a good attitude like Liz.

Incompetent and unreliable.There’s always something either missing or incorrect on my orders, it takes a long time for the changes to be made, if the employees end up making them at all and when they make a mistake on their part the order isn’t expedited but goes all the way back to a full waiting period.
