I had the greatest experience with D&H. I brought my sewing machine in on a Saturday morning, got a call from them a few hours later, and before they closed at 4, I had a tuned up machine back in my possession. They were wonderful with communication, cost effective, and friendly people. I can't recommend them enough. And they have history to back them up too because I heard about them from my mother-in-law who has taken her vacuums there for many years.You will not regret working with D&H.

I've had my Dyson vacuum for 8+ years now and I was so bummed when the front roller stopped working. I brought it to Larry at D&H and he was able to fix it within a day! It is an older model so he did some overall maintenance as well as replace the motor that spins the roller. I think he cleaned the vaccum as well! I got home and used it right away :) works perfectly again. The total was $189 (with $10 Yelp check-in discount). Much cheaper than buying a new one!!Thanks D&H.

Texted in my request via the app on yelp and received a response really quickly from Jerry. Was told to to bring in my steam mop unit in for a free diagnostic. Kept my unit overnight, looked at it, and determined the problem. Called me up the next day on what the issue was and that is was going to be able to be fixed. Was really quick and was able to pick up my unit the same day I received the call. They honored the price what was originally said and had my steam mop working like brand new again. Would highly recommend this amazing shop to anyone and I know I will defiantly be bringing in any other items that need fixing in the future!

I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and amazing customer service which you don't see as much now a days. I brought by Oreck vacuum to get serviced here since the Oreck shop that I used to take my vacuum to went out of business. After they checked out my vacuum they gave me a reasonable price for maintenance and did a fantastic job. My vacuum runs like new again. They work on all types of vacuums and they've been in business for many years. They called me within a day for pick up. I only wish I knew about this place sooner.

Jerry and associates are great. They have fair rates and do excellent work.If you have a sewing machine or vacuum that does not work give them a shot.

The two front brush of my cordless Shark vacuum stopped working after I made a silly mistake of leaving it out in the rain. I called D&H and Jerry asked me to bring in the vacuum so he can check rather or not he is able to fix it. He was very honest and upfront about the possibility of it being unfixable. However, he still was willing to give it a try and said if he can't fix it he would not charge me at all. Luckily it was fixed after one day and the total cost was $110 (with $10 off a Yelp Check-in)! It was a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend others to come support this local store!

This place is the best for both vacuum cleaner and sewing machine repair, I have purchased both my vacuum cleaner and sewing machine from them because I know I will get prompt and reliable service. Turn around is quite quick. Highly recommend.

Jerry is the best! They tuned up my serger and sewing machine and they are WAAAAAAAAY cheaper than moores. I am in love. And they sharpen knives on-site too!

This review is WAY WAY overdue!!!I have been a very pleased and satisfied customer since I purchased my first vacuum from Jerry WAY back in 1986! It was a Sanitaire commercial grade upright vacuum and I still own it and works great! Jerry, the Owner, has serviced it several time over the past 3 decades and works like brand new.Since that time I have purchased several more vacuums from Jerry and have always been extremely satisfied with his professional recommendations for my particular usages. I have always gone back to service all my vacuums and to purchase the bags, belts, supplies, etc.Jerry and his wife Robin (handles the sewing machines) are a rarity because they are both honest, trustworthy and whose character and integrity are above reproach!If you are need of a new vacuum or to rejuvenate your current vacuum(s) I highly recommend considering D & H because they offer a wide selection of high quality brands and I believe can repair all makes and models. Their prices have always been fair and offer a great overall value too.Richard

I love this place! I have stopped in here three times for repairs and have purchased a couple of new machines - each time my experience has been wonderful. The people are honest, kind and willing to help. The customer service is the best I could ever hope to experience. I really love supporting our local Orange business owners, especially when they are as good as D & H. I will not go anywhere else but here. Thank you.

I accidentally vacuumed up a sock and then made the problem worse by trying to push it out--it was super stuck, but I brought in the hose and the lovely people here got it out for me! AND didn't even charge me for it. I appreciate it so much, and will definitely come back anytime I need a vacuum repair. I saw while I was in there that they also sharpen knives, so I'll be coming back soon for that! Thank you so much!!

I am so happy with the service I received and D&H! Jerry was friendly and informative over the phone when I called with my questions, and when I brought my old vacuums in he was very patient and helpful in explaining which ones were worth repairing. He does quality work for a reasonable price. I will be back!
