My mom put off getting tires until she had the belt starting to show. I needed tires fast. I had Cooks do my Caddie about a year ago and they did a great job and good price. I called to see if they could get the car done today, Patel said we close at 2:00 on Saturdays and it was already almost 11:00 but was able to get the tires, installed and done with half an hour to spare. Once again, great job guys. .

Love these guys. Always trustworthy and fair. We've always had reliable service done, even with our Range Rover, which some mechanics are not well versed in. Fast turn-around time as well, easy communication.

INSTALLED INCOMPATIBLE CATALYTIC CONVERTER!!!!It's very unfortunate that I was led to this review. I previously lived in the city of Orange and got my cars fixed at Cook's for several years. They have a great reputation and I've always had good experiences with them. In 2019 I had to have two catalytic converters replaced on my 2002 Toyota 4Runner. I have had no issues since that point, however during the last week of November 2023 I was required to have a bi-annual smog test in order to register my car. After the smog test was finished the technician informed me that he could not identify the rear catalytic converter that Cook's installed on my car in 2019. After an hour or so of cleaning the rear catalytic converter we were able to identify the part number. The Magnaflow Catalytic Converter That cmCook's Tire and Tune installed on my vehicle was not compatible with my car. The technician flagged my car and rear catalytic converter as being "Tampered" with, resulting in my inability to get my car registered in the state of California.After informing Cook's of the issue, they told me that they would not correct the mistake made by their mechanics in violation of California law, but they would offer me a "discount" on the replacement and labor.It's absolutely unacceptable and I am a bit surprised and amazed that a local tire and auto repair brand with two stores, one in Orange and one in Fullerton, that has great reviews throughout the Orange County area and is active in the community, would perform these blatantly unethical and potentially unlawful procedures.I will update this review if anything changes as I would hope that Patel Machnic, The owner of Cooks Tire and Tune would make the ethical and hospitable decision to correct such a blatant mistake made by his company.

Took my 4runner here for a wheel alignment before a long road trip and Cook's did a great job through and through. I called several local shops and the pricing was competitive (with Yelp discount) and most importantly they were able to fit me in on a short notice. I did appreciate how the service person explained some of the details re: the alignment- the only thing I would have changed is that I wished they provided me the printout of each of the wheel alignment settings to get things back to factory spec. They did provide a 6 month warranty on the service, very welcome and appreciated! Cook's has a well deserved high rating and I would recommend it for your tire and alignment needs.
