This branch is extremely difficult to work with and the manager is the worst culprit. They find ways to not help versus seeking ways to help you. It's amazing that they're able to tell you that something can't be done only to go to another branch and make it happen with NO issues. Three times, three separate issues I walked out and went to another branch and got the matter resolved. Stay away from this branch!

Let me tell you about my experience at this Citibank. Now, just a forewarning, I'm going to admit I'm pretty critical in this review, but I'm not a patient person. Also, I'm not a banker with this bank. So, with that, let's begin. PARKING: Good, granted I came at around 4 pm. It's small, but then again, the bank is small. If you're at the intersection of Tustin and Meat, and then turn right onto Meat (depending on which direction you're going), then you'll see Citibank with no problem. It's near Zitos and Zanos, I believe. CUSTOMER SERVICE: In my past experiences, I had to wait a reasonable amount of time (10-20 minutes) to get my check cashed out, and since I started working at a different company, I cash my checks out at the company bank to avoid further deductions. This was my second time cashing out a check from this new company and the first check I cashed out was in Huntington Beach on Edinger (which is a bigger and better bank than this one). The one at Edinger made me wait, yeah, but it was reasonable. Typically when you cash out a check, you endorse it, show them your ID, get your index finger printed, and then you get your money. However, with the checks I receive from my company, tellers have to make an extra step (calling the Citibank on the check) to ensure that they have authorization to cash out my check (since the Citibank with my company isn't really a Citibank but rather a bank that just compiles checks). Okay, that's fine. The teller at Edinger knew what he was doing. So I got in and out of there pretty quickly. Praise him; the boy did not make me wait. BUT, dear god, the teller at this branch was just straight out did not know what to do with the check I handed her (I'm slightly exaggerating). I had told her, TWICE, one to her, one to her and her manager, who she had to ask for assistance, that in my previous experience in cashing out this type of check, you HAD to call the damn branch on the check. And boy, was I frustrated. I. Had. Told. Her. TWICE. I cannot stress that enough. My experience at this bank was like a person asking you to ask a question. "Hello so-and-so, can I ask you a question?" Well you already asked a damn question by asking a question to ask a question. -_- This bank had to call the branch at Edinger to ask them to call the damn Citibank I had already told them to call... What happened to "the customer is always right?" They made me wait 30 minutes... 30 minutes... Do you know how long the branch in Edinger took me? 10. 10 minutes. THEY WEREN'T EVEN BUSY. Dear god. I had to take a break out of working just to get to the bank before it closed. The workers could tell I was getting a bit impatient when I started walking around and said to myself, "this is the longest I've waited at a bank" or "I'm going crazy waiting here" or "why didn't you listen to me when I told you to call them..." I told the teller, Rose was her name who was apparently teller of the month in 2005 of North Orange County(?), that I would like the bills in 3 100s and the rest twenties. She said, "I can do that." THEN, she told me, "I'll go get some more bills." And I was thinking, oh god no, I don't want to wait at this place any longer, so I told her that I'm fine with 50s or something. What pissed me off about this branch was that they asked me for my phone #... Not only that, Rose, the teller, told me to endorse the check so it looked like my license signature, which in this case was my full name. It's not a big deal, but at that point (toward the end of the service), I was just annoyed. I'm sure the other branch asked me the same thing, but when I told them to call and they didn't do it, well, that's when I get annoyed. She also repeated asked for my license after she gave it back to me and took it from me... Talk about service. So rate wise? 2 1/2 stars (because I feel like being nice today) for parking, but crappy custom

I have been to this location at least six times - it's my least favorite branch and I will make it a point to not go back. Yes, they are friendly but that doesn't help me get through the line or speak with a personal banker any faster. Okay here is my frustration, there are three people in line for a teller and only two windows are open. That's not that bad part, what I find annoying is that two personal bankers are sitting at their tables with nobody in front of them just talking about personal stuff - I think this is bad customer service. When I asked if they could help they said, "no ma'am you will have to wait in line." I mean what on earth could you be doing rather than helping a customer? Each time I've come I've had to wait at least 20 - 30 minutes to speak with a personal banker - it's a Saturday for crying out loud, most people do errands on Saturday because they work during the week. So I decided to drive an extra 15 minutes to another branch because they seem to care more about their customers.

My husband and I opened a small business account at this location in 2011. We are extremely satisfied with the level of competent employees working at this branch. We have experienced small inconveniences but the manager/staff have correctively corrected all inconveniences fast and efficiently. I have noticed this branch as made new management decisions and what a differences in costumer and employee moral. Would recommend this branch to all family and friends. We are extremely satisfied.

***Be forewarned. I had a total bad experience at this bank and this is a possible rant...oh, and an essay :(**** I opened an account here over a year ago as a Student. The guy who opened my account 1) spelt my name WRONG even though i gave him my ID to copy my info. Not only did he do that, but the checks and my debit card that I received for my checking had my name spelt wrong on them also. When I asked him to change it, he 2) blamed me for it and told me that I "should have checked the info"...i'm sorry, I didn't realize you were dumb AND BLIND. Over a year has passed since then...and as a student, finances aren't always available. When I stopped used my credit card, I stopped using my checking account routinely. I was recently sent a notice that Citibank was going to close my account...and upon further inspection, I noticed that they had also been subtracting a $15 service fee from my STUDENT ACCOUNT. I don't know if you understand this but having a service fee and having a student account in the same sentence, is sort of an oxymoron. I don't have $1500 lying around as a student paying my own tuition. I don't have $15 dollars/month to pay for a bank account. I came into another branch near school to inquire about closing my account since they were taking money from me and the sweet lady suggested that I return to my initial bank to have them try to reimburse me for over a yr in service fees (which shouldn't have EVER happened). This is why we're back here. I had the bank manager look into my account and though he admitted the service fee should never have happened...he looked at me stupidly and asked me what i wanted him to do. Quite frankly, if $15 were taken out of my account monthly for 12+ months, I DON'T KNOW....WHAT THE HELL WOULD I WANT FROM YOU?...that's right...a logical answer would be that I wanted my money back.... Yes, I admit it was my fault for not looking into this bullshit earlier, but I rarely use the account if it's not to pay off my credit card. Anyhow, if it wasn't for your dumbass employee, I wouldn't have 1)had my name spelt wrong on all of my possession linked to this account, 2) have over $180 dollars taken from my account over the course of the past year. In the end, he reimbursed $60 dollars back into my account...but not without another annoyance. The teller was a total bitch when the Manager handed her my notice. I stood there since he hadn't said a word to me as to what I should be doing...and the teller looked at me and asked if there was anything else she could do for me. I said no, and then she stated, "...you don't have to be here." Excuse me? First off, where the hell is my receipt? Second off, I'm sorry you hate your life, bitch.... Perhaps she didn't mean to be rude...but with a little education, she could have rephrased that in a completely respectable way. I looked at the manger and asked if that was all and if i could get a copy of what he had just fixed. He stated that it was only a notice to tell her to reimburse some of my funds. Him: "You can get a receipt if you'd like..." Me: "No, that's okay..." Him: "Are you sure?" Me: "...it's okay...she was kind of rude." Him: "...Oh, sorry..." You should be sorry. Your branch? SUCKS in customer service, education and class. Oh, and don't think they actually deserve 2 stars....the second (pity star) is for your cute Asian banker. He's the only person that was there who was actually nice in any sort of way. Everyone else? total assholes and dipshits. /////End rant. Fuck you./// (I apologize for my poor use of words. please DO forgive me. I'll love you forever)
