Post updated...DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR DRESS!I was also referred by Luv Bridal. Mary's (Alice's daughter) ensured me that Song was the best and would do my dress. Keeping this short & sweet SONG DID A SHODDY JOB. A 5 yr old would have done it. I'll let the pics speak for them selves. UPDATE: since then they have stop communicating with me and have never even attempted to make to make this right. This company is no longer owned by alice or mary her daughter. Sang owns the company now. They barely speak english and have no sense of customer service. DOBT NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY TRUSTING THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR DRESS. Don't let them ruin your big day. They get zero stars

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! I went to Alterations by Alice in Anaheim because of a recommendation from LuvBridal in LA. I had to drive two hours to her boutique due to their other recommendations in LA being filled up already. I took a chance on this (3.5 star) location because of the mixed reviews- some said they were satisfied with their jobs, and others said their dream dress was ruined trusting this place. I met with Sang, and asked her to help with only hemming my wedding dress. She then proceeded to try to convince me to alter my back zipper, the front, and side seams of my dress—which I kindly refused as they fit perfectly to me. The hem job took about four months to complete for some reason, and when I arrived to pick up my dress, she didn’t hem off enough fabric for my height. She then charged me $230 for hemming two inches of the front of my wedding dress. Thank god she didn’t cut off more fabric. This was not a fun experience! I went to another location and the seamstress only charged me $40 for the same job, plus bustling, and pressing both my dress and veil in less than a week. Woof!

Luv bridal recommended this place for my wedding dress alterations and they were available. It was pricey but the work they needed to do made sense. I had to get the front of my dress hemmed, I had to also let the dress out because it was too tight at the top and then we also got the dress bustled and cut some fabric on the arms. I took it in and I came back 5 weeks later and the dress was perfect I could tell it was hemmed because I didn't need to kick the dress out to walk. I didn't feel like I was going to trip over my dress. And the dress felt so much comfortable because it didn't feel so tight anymore. I could sit comfortably, walked and danced around and felt good in my dress.I had a great experience here thankfully. My dress was perfect for the wedding day! I know dress alterations is a very scary thing because when she told me what she needed to do I was scared because she was basically cutting up the dress but everything turned out great with my dress

My dress came in very late from when promised but I was able to get in quickly and have an alterations plan made within the time I needed to get ready for my big day. I needed to have the dress hemmed, taken in, a shelf was built and cups added. The team did a very good job. I was able to get everything I needed in 3 trips. I did not leave until I was happy with how it looked. Can be a bit pricey but I mean we only get married once right. Worth the price, the time and distance of travel to make sure I looked good for my day.

Was recommended by Tiffany at Luv Bridal-Los Angeles. I felt so well taken care of here. Sang and Annie were so kind and helpful. During my time, an atrocious woman (shall I call her Karen?) came in during my appointment and demanded service from Annie immediately. Annie handled her with such diplomacy and grace that I didn't even mind that "Karen" was being disruptive. Annie taught us how to bustle my wedding dress and let us take pictures for my Grandma. Sang got my dress and shower outfit altered perfectly for my upcoming events (and so fast!). She even took in an extra seam on the back so my butt looks AH-MAZING!!! If you want to have an easy, stress-free alteration experience, definitely come here. Worth the drive from Malibu.

This is the place to go for all your bridal alterations need. You can make an appointment online (my preferred method) or over the phone. Keep in mind that alterations to your wedding dress can be expensive but I trust Annie 100%. They quote you on how much everything cost upfront and you can decide if you want to proceed or not. I had to get a few alterations done on my wedding dress (length, straps, take in, bra cups etc) but if you already spend so much on a dress, might as well spend the extra amount to make it look perfect.

I came here literally 3 weeks before my wedding because I needed my wedding dress alter. They got my dressed altered for me within a week of me dropping it off. The price was reasonable for everything they did and in such a short amount of time as well. They were super friendly and nice! I love the way my dressed turned out. I'm so happy I went here! They were fast and efficient and helped ease all the stress I felt about getting my dress altered on time. I definitely recommend going here! It is by appointment but they are very accommodating.

I was referred to this location by Luv Bridal after buying the wedding dress. The alterations service was very professional. I was around my fifth month of pregnancy and Sang suggested to do the size alterations a week before my wedding because of how uncertain it was going to be because of my pregnancy. It turned out great! I found her services to be very flexible, warm, and accommodating! Thanks again! :)

They were amazing and did such a great job! Annie was such a wonderful person and helped me throughout the entire process. I am getting married next week and I can't wait to wear the wedding dress. On another note, the alterations are pretty pricey....I was very surprised...but then the service was worth it, so I am not complaining.

My wedding dress turned out beautiful! Annie was great and very friendly! Luv bridal referred me to Bridal Alterations by Alice, the dress was ordered 2 sizes too larger and Annie made it work and kept the integrity of the dress!

Annie was incredible at helping me alter my beautiful wedding dress. I shortened, added thicker straps, adjusted the bodice, and made a custom veil. She had great communication and reasonable pricing.

Alterations by Alice was recommended to me from Luv Bridal where I purchased my dress. Mary and her team know exactly what they are doing and you can trust your gown with them. They will take very good care of it and will make sure it fits you like a glove on your wedding day! As I live in Ventura County, driving down to Mary was a two hour drive. On one occasion, we had switched one of my appointments to a different day over text but unfortunately Mary’s team did not update it in their schedule so when my mom and I drove down for my alteration appointment my gown was not ready for me and they had not made the final alterations. We were upset as we had just driven two hours to the appointment that was confirmed over text. Mary and her team were extremely apologetic and said they would have my gown ready a few days later. Unfortunately, my mom was going out of town so she was unable to attend the final alteration appointment with me. Despite this, when I went to my final appointment, my gown was ready and it fit perfectly. All in all, I would highly recommend Mary’s Alterations. While there was a hiccup on communication, they were very apologetic and their quality of work is great!
