Wow. CLASSIC bait and switch. They advertise a very low price and make you go through an extensive sales consultation after test drive. When it came time to do the paperwork, they added over $3200 in mandatory up charges that were never disclosed in any of the ads.Lo Jack - $995Wheel Powder Coating - $995Safeguard Theft - $777Clear Pro Pkg - $495Told them I don't want any of those. But they said none of these were optional and they would not budge off of any of the previously undisclosed up charges. Don't waste your time at Auto Republic. Very dishonest way to sell.

I bought a car from them and my suv broke down not even 6 days of having it . The dealership didn't want to help me . It was leaking transmission fluid. I tired to use the warranty they sold me and they denied the claim as well now I'm stuck with a 3k bill .

Auto Republic and their star salesman Joe put me in a Tesla - my dream car! Joe went above and beyond to make sure I could drive it home and call it mine. Can't appreciate them enough, this is the only place you want to buy your next car in the LA/Orange Co area.

My husband and I unfortunately had a nightmare experience here and I would never write a negative review until speaking directly with a manager first but not one person reached out to us after our clutch exploded 24 hours after purchasing our vehicle from here. We were sold a manual Jeep Wrangler that had an open recall on the clutch for overheating and exploding as well as a STOP SALE issued by the FCA but were still sold this car. My two kids and husband had the clutch explode on the freeway the second time we drove this car. After having it towed back to Auto Republic less than 48 hours after, we were met with blame and a service center claiming it was user error. Not one manager called us to ask if we were physically ok or willing to take responsibility for this issue that was directly a result on the open recall. We could have died, the car could have imploded. This car was purchased 08/12/23 and almost 2 months later, we still have not had anyone reach out to us from here.

Went to look at a car with a specific listed price. When they come back out with the out of door cost, they have tons of ad ons that you're not allowed to opt out of. It's a complete scam. They draw you in with LO advertise price, but you're not able to opt out of add-ons that you don't want. Trying to charge $500 for PPF just on the door handles. Not 1 person who works there is over age of 30. With a good deal and an attentive salesman, I literally would have walked out of there with a new truck and somebody would be going home with a commission. I'll go elsewhere.

Best experience ever! Richy was the most knowledgeable, caring and sincere salesman. He didn't make us feel pressured and went up to bat for us in buying our used van. Great experience all the way around with all the staff there. The van we bought was in excellent condition and well inspected before we took itt off the lot.

I have purchased a truck from here before . The truck works, but since I bought the truck, the service engine light and the tire pressure sensor have been on. I took it back immediately they had me drive to Fullerton to "fix" it. I know they disconnected the battery to turn off the sensors because as I drove home, they turned back on. I sent images, and they said to take it back and leave it there so their mechanic can check it out. I didn't go back.I was looking to purchase a vehicle. I went online. They had a good deal on a vehicle, $9,999. I go in with a pre-approval from my bank for $12,000. That should have covered it , right ? I call my bank to make sure everything is good. I was informed that Auto Republic put in a request for $13,900 !! The kelly blue book value of the vehicle was $9,700.I question the sales man why was the request put in ? why wasn't my pre-approval enough to cover everything? He started to get upset asking who told me about the request?I wanted to leave he obstructed me several times, and I was finally able to walk out . Only to have them harassing me over the phone to go back. I didn't give them a chance to work the numbers, days, and several calls later. I explained to stop calling, or i was going to speak to a lawyer about them calling me . It was absolutely absurd to a point hostile the way they yelled and called . I'm guessing because I'm a woman and went in with my daughter, they thought to take advantage and then basically bully me into going back to buy the car.

Contacted by Fernando re: used Kia. Details on car advertised: keyless entry, roof rack, and titanium gray. Car was blue with huge dents and scratches. No keyless entry, no roof rack, and no floor in the trunk part - open to the batteries. Complete bait and switch, 100% waste of time.

I recently bought a Transit 250 from Auto Republic and the service I received was great. The van I purchased was sold as is no warranty. However, after buying the van and driving it fully loaded the van steering wheel was shaking after breaking hard on the freeway. I called Fernando and he immediately said to bring it in. They inspected it and found the break rotors to be worn, with no hesitation they replaced the four rotors and all the break pads. Remember the van was sold as is!!

I bought a car here from this dealership on 04/02/2023. A car that I've wanted for a long time. The second time I drove the car, two days later. It wouldn't start. The alternator was bad. I was sold a car with a bad alternator. I called the sales person numerous times. To no avail. I was told that he would call me back. Not good. I'm so frustrated. Now I have to have the car fixed. And that starter is testing bad too. What a shady shoddy place. I was Happy to get the car, because I have wanted one for a long time. But I can't even drive it.When I had the vehicle tested, the place said that the alternator was bad prior to me even purchasing the car, and the battery terminals were very loose.I wouldn't recommend purchasing from this dealership. They also add in hidden costs. Options they add that are worthless to inflate the price.I spoke with Jonathan Cortez, the service manager following recieving instructions from Ella of customer service ecko ended up giving tme the runaround . Because I took over a week. I had tried in vain to speak with sales person Angel a d have yet to receive a return call. The car also needs a water pump, timing belt, electrical work,a nd a roof. Thousands of dollars or repairs.I'm so frustrated. I can't even use the car.

Bought a 15 tahoe at this place. all good until i needed to use the AC in the warm days of April so AC Doesn't work and with the cold days of Oct/March no need for it. Called them and they said it's too long ago since i bought the vehicle also noticed it's missing a seat since I don't seat in the back I didn't notice till I needed to fold seats up. They Wont fix the AC. was also told truck was normal height n it turns out it's lowered. Will get things fixed at another reputable place. I don't recommend this dealer since they will hide things from buyers and not step up n do things right. We're the customer have that power to either keep this place going out Not. If it was a bucket that cost 5k i wouldn't care but 35k and No AC its BS. Don't buy from this place n if you do check the vehicle in every possible way. Or you'll be stuck with a early repair.

Vehicles are used and they buy it and sell it without checking if anything is wrong first . A few months later . U will be surprised how u need to spend if u want one to fix it. Their smart auto care won't cover all the expenses if u need a repair
