one of the ladies behind the counter took a case of jewelry out for me to try on a bracelet, it was $3, she told me it was $3 as well. I asked to look around more so she said she was going to keep it behind the counter till I was ready to check out. When I handed it to her she was like “oh wow, this is really heavy, it looks so vintage and such good quality”, I just agreed happily, but then I’m ready to check out and she goes “oh no, the bracelet is actually $30, see? Not $3, it’s really heavy so it makes sense”. I couldn’t afford it and she puts it back behind the counter, not even back in the display case. My mother had also seen the price and I told the lady how could we all have mistaken the price, plus u literally said how much, why did you obviously change the price? She says there is one person who prices stuff she can t change anything, but then follows that with “but it’s clearly a very nice vintage bracelet and very heavy, it’s worth more than $3”. So sad that the assistance league of all places would pull something so dishonest on a customer. I hope atleast they sell it and she doesn’t pocket it so atleast the organization can profit and continue to help people in need.

Staff was outgoing, helpful, and friendly. Got a great name brand long-sleeve t-shirt for what I thought was half off. But it was the regular price. If I'm ever in Orange again, I'll certainly return.

I am usually not one to leave reviews but if you are a POC visiting this area, I would steer clear from this shop especially. The 2 women in the store, who i’m assuming are the owners, blatantly gawked at me the whole time I was in there while simultaneously whispering to each other, making it very obvious that they were having a conversation about me. I was the only other person in the store besides 3 other people. This made me extremely uncomfortable so I left while they proceeded to stare at me the whole way out. I am not a very paranoid person or someone who takes things very personally, but this was too obvious to not call out. Absolutely unacceptable and shameful behavior.

So many goodies here always. Good prices. Covid guidelines. I'm glad to see it open again and could tell by the customers they were happy to be back, too. Lots Easter ceramics & decor, & books; children's and older. I look for the fabric remnants but came home with more. It's my getaway place and I just get lost in all the treasures.
