AC Cool replaced my entire HVAC system last January. I received quotes from multiple companies, and AC Cool gave me multiple options and pricing based on my specific needs (sq ft, # of floors/bedrooms, etc). They were by far the best option and value. As an educator, they valued my budget, time and schedule and were great to work with for a full HVAC replacement.

We had a very antiquated HVAC system in the new home we recently bought. We knew we had to replace it, and we had wanted to move the system up into our attic. Another company that we interviewed said they could do it. However, when Paul from AC Cool came and took a good look at our attic and where all of our vents were, he told us that it would not be a smart decision to put our HVAC in the attic and he gave us solid, factual reasons why not. Paul took the time to explain everything to us and we appreciated his knowledge and his looking out for what would work best for our home, rather than what would put more money into his pockets. Paul and his team were very professional and friendly and clean with their work. We felt extremely lucky to have found AC Cool and to have had them do our HVAC system remodel. Paul suggested options to us that made our system more updated and quiet and he was able to move our condenser from where it was easily seen from our living room window to the side of our house where it is no longer visible. Paul, Kate and other installers made our HVAC replacement effortless and we would highly recommend AC Cool to anyone needing their HVAC updated or replaced!

This has been the best customer service I experienced in the last 5 years! Being older and a widow, I have been overcharged and paid for unneeded repairs many times from the big companies. The minute I spoke to Kate I knew I called the right AC company. She if direct, honest and very detailed. This family owned business has earned my respect. Bill Crews showed up on time, has excellent communication skills and never tried to sell me anything. He went up 2 stories in the heat and never complained once. I didn't have to replace anything, my AC is working properly, I just have Old windows and doors that don't hold in the air tightly so it has to work harder. AC Cool did not stand behind their work. They missed a Freon leak which required me to fill it twice and cost an additional $1000. I asked them to come back, and if they found a leak, I would be happy to pay for the repair but hoped they would work with me on the Freon re-charge since they missed it initially. They said no, and wouldn't even waive the service call. The second HVAC repair company immediately found the leak and RE-filled it. It's important to honor your work AC Cool.

Scam- they try and tell you that you need a new device every time they come out and charge 3x the cost and then that device either fails or it is not what was needed and the ac unit was working fine beforehand. Such a scam- don't use

Super quick response to my initial call. Specially when we were having the heatwave and no one wanted to work on the heat. They came replace a motherboard on my inside units and diagnose the outside conditioner. They advise several options which led us to make a decision to replace because the age of the air conditioner. The company owner worked with my husband and we got an amazing deal. Highly recommend this company.

We got a full new HVAC system from AC Cool 3yrs ago. Paul was great to work with and did a nice job. It's been a worry free 3yrs....until our system stopped pushing cool air yesterday afternoon on Labor Day weekend!!! It was the hottest day of the year in a record breaking heatwave. It was 87 indoors. Needless to say it was a miserable sleepless night for my entire family. We called Paul in the morning and despite his full schedule, he promised to try and squeeze us in the same day. Paul was at my house by early afternoon and brought the part along with to fix the issue. His calculated guess and experience was spot on!! He replaced the part that was under warranty and had the AC up and running in less than 10 minutes. I'm so grateful and relieved. System has been running for the past few hours now. Seems to be working fine and inside temps are dropping again. God willing we'll have a cool, comfortable and restful night of sleep.

My AC evaporator unit was leaking so I contacted 4 companies on Yelp for help. This was on a Sunday when everyone was closed, but Paul with AC Cool was the first to contact me and actually schedule an appointment for the next day. His technician Carlos showed up on time (even a little early which was awesome) and quickly diagnosed the problem (clogged pvc drain lines). I cannot say enough good things about Carlos. He was on time, courteous, explained everything that needed to be done, cleaned up after himself, and best of all, fixed the problem. We are now enjoying a cool house once again and the family is happy. Oh yeah, forgot to mention that the cost to fix was very reasonable! I'll be calling them back and asking for Carlos if anything else goes wrong with my AC in the future.

Sadly I didn't have the opportunity to experience the five star ratings that so many others shared for AC Cool. I am/was in need of a new HVAC system and ducting. Based on the five star ratings, I called AC Cool. I spoke to a very friendly receptionist (Katie) and felt like I landed with the right company. I scheduled a time for the owner (Paul) to come to my home to inspect the potential work and provide a bid. I set the meeting a week out and was given a 2 hour window between 2pm and 4pm. Perfect! This morning I called to confirm the appointment and was told I was on the schedule and all looked good. I took a half day off of work to ensure I was home to meet with Paul. At 4:09pm I still hadn't received a call or visit, so I called the office to ask if Paul was still going to make it. After a bit of confusion, it was confirmed I was on the schedule but the receptionist (not Katie) didn't know whether Paul would be able to make it. She asked if she could call me back after contacting Paul. A few minutes later, she called back and told me Paul was held up at another job and wouldn't be able to make it today. She then informed me that Paul could come tomorrow or the next day. Seems like a reasonable request except for the fact that nobody proactively called to say Paul was running behind today, so how can I be confident he'd show up tomorrow? Given the experience of today, why would I take another half day off of work to sit through another "schedule window" when they couldn't make the first window even after my morning confirmation? In my experience if it starts bad, it ends bad. Based on other reviews, it sounds like my experience is not the norm. Or maybe others just move on to other contractors.

Our heater wasn't working properly and Jeff came out and quickly diagnosed it as the Nest thermostat not set up correctly. He was in and out in 20 minutes, extremely helpful and friendly. We will be using AC Cool for any of our future HVAC needs!
