The employee at this location looked like he didn't want to be bothered. Walked into the check out area and he was sitting down behind the register with his head down, looking at his phone and his earbuds in. Look, I'm fine with someone just chilling at a low paying job like this, but when you can barely look at a customer and mumble a few words to explain what we need to do to finish the rental return process, is where I have an issue. I told this employee that I'm returning a rental and he didn't even say anything coherent, most likely due to his attention being centered on whatever was playing in his ears. I gave him the keys to the truck, he did his checks and he asks me where the furniture blankets were as I was mistaken that those were rentals and I didn't just buy them which wasn't very clear on the website when I ordered the rental truck. I asked him what they cost to just purchase as I didn't want to have to drive home and back just to return them. Again, this employee looked bothered that I was forcing him to do his job. Instead of telling me what they cost to purchase, he spends about 5 minutes on his phone and then tells me I owe an additional $11, instead of telling me what it cost to purchase them. He didn't break down cost for extra mileage, tell me that the gas level was okay or even what my total was when I asked, TWICE. He just told me it was an extra $11. After a very long day of moving, I was too exhausted to deal with this employee so I paid and never got a receipt. I rented this truck from a location in El Monte and returned same day in Ontario and the employee interaction was night and day with the El Monte employee being great and the Ontario employee being horrible.

I have used this particular U-Haul facility and business for the last 9 years that I've lived in Ontario, California. As of February 1st I was evicted from my home and needed to get a truck to go ahead and move my items into storage as me and my family were becoming homeless. Due to the horrible weather that we had at the beginning of February I unfortunately was not able to bring the van back at its scheduled time I called the I called the building spoke with an associate and they told me that I should be able to have the van picked up if it was necessary to and when said called corporate and then regional I was then told that that was a lie and I also expressed that I wasn't able to afford to pay for the other days that would be charged because again I'm a single mom about to be homeless they still charged me $160 plus $108. That is two nights worth of motels for me and my boys. And I have been in dispute with my bank and have now going to be in dispute with U-Haul I'm not happy with my experience I feel that I was completely taken advantage of when I was already going through a really tough time in my life that yes poor decisions were made unfortunately I trusted people that I thought I could trust that we're not able to have my back in order to get the van back at the appropriate time as promised but when the U-Haul came to pick up the van I didn't sign anything they didn't go over pricing with me they didn't go over anything. I did not even receive a follow-up call from the store manager who is adamant about not wanting to pick up the vehicle from me and wanting to call the police because I still had the vehicle and nothing I just get double charged and because the card went through that's it. Unfortunately after the situation I will never use U-Haul again I cannot believe the unbelievable amount of distrust that I have within a company that I've used for so long that was always so accommodating to the fact that again being a single parent I'm only one human with two hands. I understand that as a human I have to make the I have to make the moves on my end to make it work in order to use U-Haul or any type of truck facility cuz I am only one person but at the same time work with your customers. And so I won't be happy until I get my money back and even then I may never use U-Haul again especially U-Haul of Ontario off of hole boulevard.

Scheduled an appointment for a hitch to be installed on my husband’s truck as a Christmas present. I was given a date and a time and was told that I would receive a confirmation text. I never received the confirmation text so I called at 6:00 am and got an answering service person named Renee. She was very accommodating and sent a message to the Ontario U-Haul asking them to contact me ASAP to confirm my appointment. They never called me so I called them. The person who answered said that they don’t even install hitches at there location and that I would receive a call back from one of their employees who was helping another customer. I never received that call so I ended up calling another company to have my husbands hitch installed. What a joke! I will never recommend this company to anyone!

I got to give the guys at this uhaul all the props! They are always helpful. Special shout out to the assistant manager, Neimiah! My guy goes above and beyond to help people, always calm under pressure even when I have seen some pretty rude customers. These guys, in general and Neimiah, in particular, demonstrate outstanding customer service

The Uhaul center in Ontario on Holt Blvd went above and beyond in their service and I cannot think of any areas of improvement because of their excellence in every area of service. From the initial person I contacted to make the reservation down to the companies that are referred out for moving my items all the way to the service center and storage for my items, I find nothing but praise for everyone involved, particularly Hayden and the gentleman that works with him the nightshift Friday.

Extremely bad service. I spent alot of money on this place with rentals and Propane on weekly basis. Today October 21st. Come down for Propane. No body wanted to assist me. Was left hanging put for 40 mins. Unacceptable business practices

This location disposed of $15,000 worth of personal items from a truck my husband rented and is refusing to take responsibility even after my husband found some of his missing items in the dumpster behind the store. We are in the process of taking further action
