I have shopped at this Stater Bros. for over 5 years. The customer service with the young bag people just keeps getting worse. Not to mention the cashier's that hold conversations with them and barely acknowledge me as a paying customer. The attitude of these children because they act that way is entitled. I guess good help is hard to find. I have given your store so many opportunities to be better and you are not stepping up. I will no longer shop at your store. Very disappointed. Family owned. Be better. Train those entitled children better.

The price is low here. The service was good. The neighborhood is not very good here. There is plenty place to park here. The place is clean. The park lot is clean. Not too hard to find.

Usually my feedback is on a positive note.
This time is different. A bit of background, a couple weeks ago my son (4th grader) had a career day at his school, When I picked him up that day he was so exited to tell me all bout Stater Brothers history and how Store manager Maria went in and told the class all about her role at our local Stater Brothers (Store#108) She brought the class an awesome string backpack pack with their logo apple, and a gift card! She was very kind he said and even invited the students to stop by and say hello, Well we did I took my son after school yesterday along with his new baby twin brothers to say hello and get something with his gift card, As we were there I decided to get some quick dinner, a family fried chicken meal from the deli. I waited for the associate to acknowledge me as she had her back turned making yogurt parfaits, she turned and asked for a couple minutes. I was ok with that I responded " Ok thank you" ( I did not get a chance to get her name) Well she came over and assisted me. I asked for the 8 piece chicken , there were a couple pieces left, not fresh as expected, the last of that batch. Luckily another associate "Angela" came out with a fresh batch and was re stocking the tray right next to us, I asked if I could please get some chicken from the fresh batch she was placing, She looked at me and said " ITS THE SAME CHICKEN AS THAT ONE" I said I would rather purchase the fresh chicken for my family. Both ignored me and continued packing. As I'm standing there waiting for my meal they BOTH just left and walked to the bac kitchen, literally leaving us standing there without a word. I turned around and I saw a cashier walking our way, I stopped her and asked if she can do me a favor and go to the back and ask the ladies If they were able to assist me with my chicken, I was so confused. Well cashier went to the back and asked and Angela came out and when I tell you she looked to MAD/Bothered , I cant begin to explain. Her first words were, " IALREADY TOLD YIU ITS THE SAME DAMN CHICKEN" I looked at her shocked with my son right next to me. I said I asked for the fresh chicken you just brought out, She responded "WE ALREADY BXED YOUR CHICKEN! ITS THE SAME THING" I then responded , I'm sorry if you already boxed it but i informed you when you were placing the new one in and I was ignored, She responded again "ITS THE SAME THING< STILL CHICKEN" I was sooo shocked! I asked her " So I'm not able to et the fresh batch? I haven't even touched the bag order that was placed on the glass counter yet" She looked at me rolled her eyes sighted and opened the box and literally THREW the old chicken in the tray and threw in the fresh chicken in the box ( I HOPE there's camera footage so you can see I'm not exaggerating this situation) I then said, Why are you being so mean about it, And she again said : " It was already Boxed, So i did say " There's no need for you to be so rude" There was anther associate stocking avocados right next to us he turned but didn't say anything. I proceeded to go to check out , Register 1 and a very nice cahier Kia I believe her name was asked me what was wrong and I explained what had happened. She was just as shocked nd apologized and did mention that Angela is the MANAGER for that department. I was even more Shocked. She did mention that store manager Maria was not in that day but her name is on the receipt. My son proceeded to tell the cashier all bout how he wished she was there because Maria was so nice nothing compared to Angela. I would of maybe let this situation pass but my son was so exited for this little "field trip to the grocery store" and he had to experience this awful customer service. For Angela it may just be something minor, but experiences like this can really ruin someone's day. We can all agree that the prices at Stater Brothers are a bit higher than other near by stores but we h

Store is much better than Walmart. Produce is great and everyone is helpful and friendly. I always ask for help with heavy things and I'm helped immediately, at Walmart I end up asking a male client for help. Many things are less expensive that Walmart.

I come here to do grocery shopping the only thing I will complain not enough registers open. but everyone is nice and friendly and also I hope the manager will do something about drunk people at the parking lot, that is the only thing I don't like you feel unsafe getting out the car.
the store is clean
the people workign at the meat department are friendly
staff is nice
the checkout register could use more cashiers
