Beware of the new delivery charge! We are previous customers,bought a recliner sofa in 2022. Also,paid for the membership so we can have member pricing and free in-house delivery. 2 weeks ago, we bought a dining table and 4 chairs. Asked about the delivery, the sales lady said we got free delivery because of the membership. Also asked about whether the table needs to be assembled, and she said no. Also asked about whether they will haul-away our old table,she said no but they can help move the table outside of the house. Today, the delivery had come, and delivery guys said they only delivered to doorstep dropoff, not inside the house and no assembly. There is an additional $150 Elite service for delivering in-house and assembly. The sales lady never mentioned an additional charge for in-house delivery and assembly. Called customer service and talked to the floor manager. The manager said she would call me back in about 20 mins, and I never got a call back. Not very good customer service.

when purchasing from any Mathis Brothers keep in mind to check all stitching, piping etc. The majority of the time it is sewed incorrectly, as is not the same on both sides, fabric tucked in when it shouldn't be, not sewed well, etc. Also NEVER buy an extended warranty. It will not cover any stichting that has come apart at the seem where it usually occurs. Very false advertisemen. Total scam for any other claim I have tried to process with Mathis Brothers

I called to cancel a membership I bought with them and it was a quick and easy phone call. The customer service agent took care of it in 30 seconds. My sales person said he'd make sure it didn't auto renew but I know better and made sure to check myself. I appreciate a place that has a live person answer the phone and doesn't give you the run around. I also liked the chair we bought. I'll be back!

There really needs to be 0 or even -0 stars available. If you purchase something here you have 7 days to return it. If something goes wrong in 2 weeks you're SOL. Stuck with a terrible sofa now. Will never purchase from Mathis again. Purchased the Mathis membership to save on a recliner...it's a Lazy Boy so hopefully it will stand the test. But the sofa- it's a POS. Avoid them, got better furniture when I was a young newlywed from a generic corner store.

They're service and return or exchange policy is the worst. Stay away from this store once you buy it your stuck with it, they won't work with you. Bought 3000.00 dollars of supposedly top quality Simon Li sofas and they're junk. After 5 months the wood frame started breaking down like it had termites in it. Big holes in arm rests. Policy we have to repair. Yeah but we bought new and not clearance . They're running it like a clearance or going out of business sales. They don't tell customers how the warranty if theirs any works. They dictate the return or exchange policy in California , 7 days isn't crap. Post it in the damn stores or tell all customers this is how it's going to be, if it breaks oh well it's yours. TOO BAD . Go away. I want to hear it from Ricks mouth that after 6 months too bad you're out of luck they're yours. They're trash. Bad craftsmanship and poor quality brand. I have way better standards than Simon Li. I want better. Consumers expect better. And they take their sweet time to get back to you, months went by. Bought them in July 2023 and called store in January 2024 they picked them up got them back in February , they fix them not Simon Li , I sent them back not happy with work . Here we are still waiting and fighting for them to make it right. Stay away everyone.

STAY AWAY from this place. All they sell here is garbage. We have spent close to $20,000 for a lot of furniture for home and office and the leather reclining sofa broke. It is just my wife and myself who live here alone as we are an older couple. My wife's side of the recliner broke in the reclining position and she doesn't hardly ever recline it as she is petite and it doesn't fit her as good as me in the reclined position. If she has reclined it 20 times I would be surprised.. So we called Mathis and they came out and left it this way... They said they have to order parts... 3 months later still no parts. We have an email from them telling us that maybe we can find the parts on Ebay or Amazon... REALLY?? Why do we have to search for the parts?? I told them they could take this back and replace it and they said NO they can't do that. So we have no idea how long we have to wait like this, nor do they.... Stay away from this place. They only like you if you are spending money...

I was on the fence about two stars because part of my problem here was partly my complacency. My wife and I bought a beautiful bedroom set a year ago. The agent helping us was nice and helpful and he suggested that we could apply for a credit line there with 12 months interest free. We planned to pay the totals of roughly $4,800 within a year but life threw a few curve balls and we only got half way at the year mark. Then the other shoe dropped. Our balance went from $2600 to $4250 because there was a hidden catch. If you did not pay it in full within a year you would be charged 30% from the day you bought it!!!! This is dirty and should be illegal. Truth is I should've read the fine print first. They are not the lender (Synchory) but sure push it like it's a great deal. I feel scammed

My Wife and I stopped by on Sunday, it was fairly busy but there were a ton of associates just standing around on their iPads or chatting in groups. When we walked in we were greeted and when we asked about couches we were pointed in a general direction and given no assistance. We had visited previous furniture stores so we had an idea of what we were looking for but none of their products had anything but a price tag. There was no information on measurements, configurations, color availability, fabrics. Nothing. Associates would walk by and say hello but no one stopped to help or ask if we needed help. I was ready to leave because I noticed my wife and I were some of the youngest people there, and we were a bit under dressed compared to everyone else. But my wife is pregnant and she wants to wear comfortable clothing, and I unfortunately have a baby face and even though I'm 34YO I look like an 18-22YO, if not younger. My wife convinced me to stay and we would just look around some more. Finally I got fed up and when an associate walked by I asked her for assistance. She was pleasant but my wife and I just felt like we were bothering her, she gave us quick answers and constantly just walk away but my wife would pull her back with more questions. She was showing us their cheapest couches even though my wife specified we were looking for comfortable couches, we didn't have a budget, as in we were willing to spend what we needed to get it and specified we were paying in full. Even still she didn't try to show us what we were looking for just showed us the basics and so we left. We had bought furniture here years ago, a dinning room table two end tables and a coffee table, and we weren't treated so poorly, maybe because we had my mother in law at the time? I couldn't tell you but I will say the lady who was wearing the fake fur coat was definitely having better luck than us as there was 3 people helping her. Do not come here unless you LOOK well off.

David Khoury was very professional. Definitely provided the patience and service I was looking for. I went to Ashley's a couple days before with my GF and I got crap service. "Showed them was I was looking for and he just said we have none of that. Look around." And he just hovered around us. I met David at Mathis and showed him what I was looking for. Couldn't find what I hoping for and out of no where he suggested a set from Ashley's furniture. The color, fabric and comfort was amazing. A complete different design. I had to make sure the set fit in my lvijg room and he responded promptly with every text question. I ended up buying the couches,tables,rugs and dinning set. He priced matched Ashley's. I was going to negotiate like I normally do with Ashley's, but I'm willing to step over a couple hundred dollars to get 5 star service. And if he's still there when I need help with something in the future, pretty sure he will provide that service he promised.

We returned to Mathis Home in Ontario and Vincent (Vince) helped us. What fabulous service and awesome care he did for us. Vince helped us pick the absolute perfect dining room set that we were looking for and couldn't be happier! Vince makes choosing the right furniture for our home so much easier and with less stress. We really love the quality of the furniture that Mathis has to offer. The show room floor is incredible. Just when we thought we saw it all, then there's the second floor! Literally an AMAZING place! Thank you Vince for taking the time to show us the pros and cons of the various dining room sets that we were looking at. You really helped us by making our kitchen dining set purchasing decision both easy and fun! Thank you Mathis Bros. once again for yet another "home run" by your staff and furniture selection!

My husband and I walked in and gave a brief description on what we wanted. Immediately we were told by an employee we can't help you but we proceeded to looked anyway. Karla overheard this employee and came and found us. WOW, there are no words on how professional and understanding she was to our situation. She truly went the extra mile to show us what we were looking for and found it! She was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable! I hope everyone is helped by Karla when they walk through the doors as she is the one you want helping you in your furniture journey!!!
