My wife and I have been coming to Karen for over 25 years. Another family member of my wife brought us to her, and they had been going there for years as well. We are back this year! I can highly recommend Karen and those who work with her! Our taxes are not an easy task that we give her, but, she is quick to get everything done, knows what she is doing, and her pricing is very fair! Very unprofessional and overpriced if you notice there are several office locations but they use same number possibly Karen's cell.....don't ever drop your paperwork off without photocopies made they will loose your file

I have been going to Island Tax Service for the past few years and Karen has always been so helpful. I enjoy my time there as Karen and her staff always make me feel welcome. They have the cutest little snacks/treat area and she always has candy on her desk! I will continue to give my referrals and send people her way!

Do not go to this tax service been with them for 5 years now. Quality if service just keeps going down.And this year they screwed up so bad .Well in specific Tammy messed up both federal and state .Gave her All the info she needed but she failed to send in A document to Federal .Then state she messed up the numbers so bad .I went from supposedly 6,800 to 5,400 then IRS said she did it wrong to 4,500 …and the priced for electronic little over 300 .Save your money and go to someone who actually cares your paying them to do A job. But even if they messed up she filed so no effort to fix her mistake…Smh bad business

I used to come here for 6 years in a row. Quality severely dropped. Karen screwed up my 2019 and 2020 taxes didn't even have the decency to acknowledge her mistakes and even tried to pass them off as my mistake and after showing proof that it was in fact her fault she had her daughter fix her screw up with no apology or not even acknowledgement of her own bizarre mistake. I referred many people here. And after my experience with her unprofessionalism I have notified all my family and friends to never come back here. I suggest if you're considering getting your taxes done here just don't. Go to H&R block or turbo tax anywhere but here. I wasn't going to comment but after the owner replied, claiming I wasn't a client, you asked for it. Good riddance ? they also don't follow covid protocols and complained about covid not being serious and her hate for wearing a mask. Overpriced, under qualified, and a waste of time. Safe yourself the trouble. After almost 9 months we are still working with the IRS to fix what Karen did.

Paid $150 to owe IRS extra becasue Karen did not fully include an income and other deductions. Overpriced service and messed up not one but two years of taxes.
