Location is basically part of the Ontario Mills shopping mall, right on the ring road with all the food options. So convenient. Of the Hyatt Places we frequent, this one is the oldest and somewhat dingy and drab. Definitely needs a refresh and the breakfast is also subpar comparatively. But otherwise is fine.

I loved it, I even wanted to stay +1 night, I loved it so much that I slept for 12 hours straight!!! I stayed more in the room than on the beach itself!I recommend it in all aspects.

My stay at this hotel was less than desirable. Both nights in the hotel there were numerous families as other guests and the children were allowed to run up and down hallways and knock on other guests doors. They would run through the stairwells - so thank god there wasn’t an emergency and the stairwells weren’t needed for exits. This noise and disruption went well into the night both nights. In addition to this the staff did nothing to fix the problem at the time, nor did they make any accommodations to other guests because of it. This was their response to me - “I understand the situation from last night can be frustrating and has caused issues and sorry that you experienced that. It was very out of control last night and did our best to address it but it did prove difficult.” This was unacceptable and if they can’t control things like this then they need to add staff or do something. This impacts their guests comfort and safety - essentially the main things they are responsible for. I do not recommend this hotel in any way - Side note: the desk person who checked me in was very nice. The rest were unhelpful and rudeRooms: Ok but can use and updateSafety: Emergency exits were constantly disrupted by running children

The staff is wonderful. The owner is an absentee owner. The guests need to learn to tip. This is a service business. In this country you tip. Always tip the hotel staff as you would do in Las Vegas. The guests are messy in their rooms. If your hotel room is a pig pen that means so is your home. Guests who are parents of teenagers need to raise their kids better to behave in public same goes for the kid sports teams. Being a good sportsman doesn't pay the bills.Do not forget to tip the hotel staff.Welcome to The City Of Ontario. Now go home.

Hotel was clean but does need some updating. Staff was friendly and offered smiles. Carpet had burns and was pretty sad. No microwave in room and no icemaker on my floor. Hotel is situated at the I-10 and I-15 interchange, so lots of traffic noise outside. Surprisingly room was somewhat quiet for the amount of traffic. Location is good with tons of dining and shopping nearby. Housekeeping was great and breakfast was the usual eggs in a can.

Loved everything, except we had trouble with the dryer. It takes a while before it will take your card if it takes it. Other than that, everything was excellent. Our family would love to stay there againWalkability: You can walk to the mall and to restaurants near byFood & drinks: There is alot of options for dinner and lunch all within a mile around

Worst service and experience. Our teens locked themselves in the room using the door guard and fell asleep. The room phone was broken so we could not even ring the phone and wake them up. I asked if they can at least help us to open door for a small opening so that we can wake up the boys by calling their names but they kept telling us it is not possible until we insisted and finally they came and guess what, we were able to open the door slightly to wake up the boys by calling their names. The hotel did not have a predefined process to address such situation and their only answer was let’s call the fire fighters. Do you imagine that a hotel don’t have a procedure for emergency! Nor a trained staff to deal with these situations! The only thing they offered is asking us to call the kids on their phone and pinging their devices!

hello Viewers,I am visiting Ontario customers and decide to stay at the Hyatt place Ontario. from the map the location is very convenience, closers to airport, mall, and major highway.let's talk about the room for bit, it's family suite style with include sofa bed, open space, and small kitchen, this is an awesome place for a family group to stay. however the hotel is old and have not been remodel for a long time. the hotel is very close to the highway, the windows are not double pane windows, so I can hear the highway noisy all night long, not to mention my hotel is actually facing the highway and highway construction is going all night long.the hotels serve the breakfast in the morning and I think the limited ventilation in the kitchen area is making the dinning area a bit oily stinky.in short, if you are coming here for a quick road trip and staying the whole family with a bit budget control, Hyatt place Ontario is definitely one of a nicer hotel to try on. however if you are noisy sensitive, pls look elsewhere until they upgrade the windows.thanks,Paul

Nice hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms, and decent breakfast. Location is ideal with mall, shopping centers, and numerous restaurants close by. Hotel is in need of upgrade, however, the basic services offered are phenomenal so it is easy to overlook the cosmetics. Enjoyed my stay and definitely will return if offsetting in Ontario, CA.

The stay was fine until the very end: we checked out, started driving home, and realized about ten minutes later we had forgotten our sunglasses in the hotel room. We immediately turned around, went back to the hotel room, and the sunglasses were gone. The bed had been stripped, so someone from housekeeping had to have gone into the room and consciously took the sunglasses. The only person who could've been in the room strangely had just left to go to lunch. The front desk employee and housekeepers didn't know where the sunglasses were. There was no management onsite to handle the situation, either. We continued to work with them for a few days, with no turn up of sunglasses in the laundry, lock box, etc. fortunately they refunded us the entire trip, but the staff has some serious trust and negligence when it comes to lost & found.

Beware DO NOT stay at this hotel. This a hotel that houses "transitional" people. = Homeless. There are people milling around outside at all times. This is not a safe or clean Hyatt.
