It's really unfortunate that there are so many wonderful reviews, because that is opposite of what I experienced. This is for 2021/22. Not only was I regularly ignored and questions not answered, Pilar completely mislead me on the services she'd promised to provide (it was in writing), then used "being short-staffed" as an excuse to doing the opposite of what we discussed. She even went as far as filling a tax return WITHOUT my consent (no signature, nothing). In her words, "We were waiting for your approval ... I pulled and approved." I didn't even know tax preparers could force approvals through without signatures. I will never use this office again. In fact, my experience was so sour, I'll never use H&R block again.

I needed to file my taxes with only 2 weeks until the deadline... I was helped and offered a snack and drink which was nice! The receptionist is very friendly and all smiles, very much something needed when it comes to the stress of taxes. I filled out a simple form and was brought into the office space to confirm few details. Got my estimated tax return, paid and left. All in all it probably took me 20 mins. First time doing taxes on my own being a young adult, and I will definitely be back next year when time comes. Thank you H&R off holt and San Antonio
