By far the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a business, if you can call it that. My engine was brought here March 2021, (was told it would take 3 weeks) each time I checked in to see when it would be ready all I got was excuses. Flash forward to March 2022 I pick up the engine and I'm told my old 6.0 block was cracked and now "junk" so they gave me a "good block". What I got was a block that was cracked worse than my original one that was attempted to be fixed but left with multiple cracks and aluminum missing from the deck. When I confronted the owner (Fred) with the issue he claimed his eyesight was not good and somehow missed them. Looking at past reviews it seems he is ok with taking customers money and letting them walk away with horrendous work. They also work with a shady builder being the middle man who's only intentions were to steal money from me along with reinstalling worn out cam bearings , high mileage lifters, hardware that is not suitable for horsepower my engine was supposed to make. Owner was hesitant to give any information regarding price knowing that I was being overcharged and paying for parts I didn't receive. These people do not deserve to be working on engines, continuing to do bad work and taking advantage of their customers.

Received an engine from a customer that was machined and assembled here for $6100 that was to include new ported ls3 heads, all arp hardware, wiseco pistons, and some block repair work. If the work was done right with the parts sold to the customer, it would still represent the worst value I've seen as someone who works in this industry. The block was cracked, the cam bearings were worn to the copper, the customers original CNC ported heads were replaced by stock castings of unknown origin, and the engine didn't have wiseco pistons but rather CP carillo which are fine too. No ARP hardware, generally dirty, very bad finish on the decks with clear sighs the sleeves were ground down with low spots not touched by the decking process. There is missing aluminum material between the spaces of the cylinders that would not be suitable for a reliable head gasket seal. It's the lowest level of work I've seen in my entire history and it should be embarrassing. The owner claimed that his eyesight was not good so he didn't see the obvious issues and that the guy Josh who was the middle man specifically requested to not change the cam bearings and to reinstall the scuffed up camshaft with the original high mileage engine lifters. In short, the customer has about $1500 or less of parts in this engine and lost possession of his own parts and they had told him at one point they were replacing the cracked block, but it appears the didn't replace it but rather further damaged it with work that falls short of what I'd expect from the lowest level of garage mechanic. The customer had a direct conversation and presented the invoice and the owner claimed that it wasn't his but wouldn't show him any documentation from the order and wouldn't discuss much. The owner spoke about lawsuits as if he was already familiar with being dealt with Legally in the past. The only resolution I can see is both this place being reported to the BAR and getting served with a small claims case for which I'll gladly participate and bring with me some other machinists who I'll have reverse engineer the work and document it in video with some detailed measurements and a thorough build sheet to examine the rest of the work which can't be expected to be proper. $6100 is criminal IF the work was done properly with the parts list provided, but taking into account the sub professional quality of the work, the lost 9 months, the loss of the personal property, I suggest there are damages in excess of the abhorrent charges. The only resolution would be a complete refund, the return of the customers ported heads, or a full refund minus the cost of the parts if the rods are proven new and his old heads. This isn't a machine shop. It's a Ponzi scheme of car parts and shoddy work and a place people bring customers to scam them. Everyone connected to this will be exposed within a very expansive network of machinists, automotive enthusiasts, customers, and probably a few media publications if this matter isn't handled with integrity in short order. I don't need to warn you to stay away. The only warning is to the owner. The clock has started.

These guys are not only professional but have an attention to detail and goes over all of your options.
A couple years ago we (Ontario Professional Firefighters Association) was looking for an engine builder to put together a big block chevy for an old fire engine we were going to restore. They stepped up to the plate.
I've seen them multiple times at Pomona Swap Meet, and while out of uniform at these events they always remembered me by name!
They are really into customer service and putting together anything you ask and will go over different options based on your budget.
I will be needing an LS engine for my 1959 Corvette Restomod I'm building, I'm definitely going to make a visit to them , especially now that they have a dyno!
My 59 Vette build is attached. Extensive body work (fiberglass) and paint being performed by Corvette expert (Greg) at GTS Customs in Simi Valley, Ca.
