I've literally been with the same accountant all my life; the same one my parents use. However this was finally the year I had to find someone else to file our taxes (And No, I'm never going to file my own. I've heard that advice before \"just file your own, it's easy.) I contacted 4 different local accounting service businesses and ultimately decided on Hongda \u0026 Gil Tax. I made an appointment and drove down at the end of February. Since it was my first time, they did have to get copies of our Drivers' licenses. I came alone, but happened to have a photo of my husband's and emailed it. During the initial set up, I waited in a common break room. They had water, coffee and vending machine if you wanted any snacks. After waiting about 10 minutes, I went in for my actual appointment. Everything was fairly quick, I was asked a few questions, provided advice on things to change on our W4, and told how much I would get back and what I owed. I checked my direct deposit a couple weeks later and saw I had already received by money back from the State! LOL The fee was also reasonable; just a tad higher than what my previous accountant charged, but the processes was really smooth and so fast. Definitely coming here again next year.

Fast and professional service. However, they do not do salary estimate calculation and If you are amending your tax return, there will be same amount of fee again so suggest to wait and bring everything if you have some Schedule K1 delivering late for personal tax or calculate your budget to see if the refund covered more than amending fees.

Mr. Hongda is straight forward, efficient and very knowledgeable! In and out for my appointment in one hours with both my personal and business income tax filed. Can't be more happy with the service, when you sitting with him, at the end of appointment you know how much refund right away. The best part I like this tax person is he deal it all by himself. not like the big CPA firms, the CPA do the intake and their assistant do the paperwork. With Hongda no time will be wasted.

Been a loyal client of this place for over 7 years and will continue to be one. Hongda is very quick, professional and never overbook his appointments. He is on time and rarely does he have you wait long in the lobby. His prices are fair, reasonable and consistent, which is something I can appreciate. There are ample parking spots and a very easy place to find. If you need a tax preparer in the I.E, look no further as this place is it.

This is way overdue, I have been coming to don't tax for a few years now and they have the best customer service and very knowledgeable when it comes to accounting questions, and the best this is that they treat you like family.
