1. They didn't honor reservation price. The counter price for me is $10 higher than reservation
2. Especially is you are renting an EV, remember ask them the printed document aobut the battery charge before you drive out of the garage. Otherwise they assume you drive out with 100% battery. My out battery was only around 70% and returned with 50%. They charged me the difference between 100% and 50%.

As shown 8 hours ago, Hertz replied to my review and asked me to contact them directly. Actually I already contact them 2 weeks ago at their official website but never heard back.
Already lost confidence on them and submitted a BBB complaimt.

Such a bad experience!
We picked a brand new car and its screen doesn’t light, so we need to change to a new car which we took mins to find . When we want to exit the gate we spent another 15mins there waiting them to check whatever something I don’t know. So frustrating!!!!!!!

I had the pleasure of experiencing outstanding customer service from Ben at Ontario Airport. From the moment I approached him, his patience was evident as he attentively addressed all my concerns. Ben's accommodating nature made my travel experience much smoother, and his friendly demeanor added a personal touch that truly made a difference. His professionalism and genuine kindness are commendable, and he stands out as an exemplary representative of excellent customer service.

This place is ridiculously terrible with customer service. I watched the guy at the counter “upsell” services and lie to people about them. Only for them to come out and find out that’s now how it works or the car the upgraded to wasn’t available. 1 hour wait and the man in the parking lot continues to bring us compact cars when we rented a full size. He continuously lied about them being full size and got mad when we would tell him they weren’t. He offered a Tesla, and when I asked if it was charged he said “idk just go get in it”. He gave a family that rented an SUV a compact car and told them oh well everyone waiting. No discount just deal with it. He put his finger in my husband’s face and the manager had to go get us the car we paid for after being lied to. We sat for an hour watching families complain and come back for the car they actually paid for. This wait ruined my first reservation in the city and was a terrible start to my family’s trip. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I will never be back here again.

Cassandra should be employee of the month every month!!!
My husband and I returned the original vehicle due to concerns with the rental. Cassandra was understanding of our concerns and patient with helping us find an alternative vehicle.
We left happy meeting her. She made the Hertz experience!

Very unprofessional. Watched the lady offer the person in front of me several car options to tell me she wouldn’t honor my reservation because it was booked same day. After paying in advance. Do not waste your time with this awful company.

Hertz Car Rental Ontario International provided us with everything we needed, including peace of mind. Our flights had been delayed, planes and gates changed and basically our plans now needed to change to accommodate our new schedule. Luckily for us Cassandra was our customer service representative/agent. She was so personable and empathetic. She immediately changed the tone of our trip, positivity now ruled. We needed some changes to our rental plan we had already set up and Cassandra helped smooth out any details. I highly recommend Hertz, I highly recommend Cassandra!! We rent cars often and this service was exceptional! Thank you Cassandra! - This woman deserves a raise!!!!!

Let me tell you about my service experience with Hertz
I have been renting a car from them for 8 months, in the last month I received two cars with problems! Wow, I have to come every time for treatment and I'm wasting my time and my money
There is a manager there named Michelle. Worst, I had to wait for her for almost 30 minutes and leave without answers. I don't know how to keep customers and help them!
Michelle's service is the worst, I don't know how she manages the place!

This Hertz location helped me out after getting a flat tire on my rental car. Very friendly and helpful with a personal touch. Great service and very quick, I was in and out in no time. Even got some great tips for delicious donuts! Thank you again, really appreciate it :)

Flight arrived super late and by the time I got to the Hertz location they were closed for the night. Sucks but it happens. Been trying for over an hour this morning (and counting) to get in touch with them to find out how to get my car and I cannot for the life of me get in touch with anyone. Their customer service line is automation hell. Half the time their own system glitches out and goes blank forcing you to cut the call and listen to all the prompts again. If you manage to get in touch with someone you only hear a hurried “Hertz I’m going to put you on hold” and that’s that. They just leave you there for 15-20 minutes before the call ends, forcing you to call and go through all the prompts again. Hertz obviously couldn’t care less about you getting the car you paid for. I was eventually forced to call a different Hertz location and get assistance because these guys are that useless. Go anywhere else unless listening to hold music and not getting places is a passion of yours.

We had an excellent experience with Hertz at Ontario Airport.
The oil light on our actual rental car came on in the middle of our vacation, forcing us to either change the oil or change the vehicle.
Just 1 second after entering the building, Daniel and Cassandra helped us deal with our problem and gave us a new (very good) vehicle.
It felt like we had all the time in the world to move our things from the old vehicle to the new one.
Thanks again to Cassandra and Daniel for the great help and fantastic customer service, you saved our vacation.

I do not recommend renting from Hertz. They have charged me two times for the same car rental and now it is over two weeks later and they still have not straightened it out. I have been getting nothing but the runaround from the Hertz people. One would think they could easily reverse the charges on one of the two charges to my credit card. On top of that there was a big mixup when I went to check in. I was supposed to go right out to the lot and get my car, but they told me there was no car for me. They sent me back inside to the end of the line. I waited through the line. When I got to the counter and was starting to talk about the whole situation all over again, someone called from the parking lot and said my car was ready and wondered where I was. But the biggest problem for me is the fact that I have been charged twice $263 and Burch still has not taken care of it. Beware.

Easiest Hertz to get to from Airport and wonderful staff. Especially Ben! After travel delays, I tried to update my pickup time on the app, but it wouldn't let me change it, kept getting system errors. Reservation eventually cancelled. When I finally got to Hertz Ben was super helpful and took care of the issue quickly.
