Had problem with smog check Ray looked over report suggested a o2 censor I went and picked up one Ray installed and everything is fine and passed smog thanks for the advice an installation

This place are full of BS went for a to install a catalytic converter and told me to come back at 4.00 and the price was one, when I get there they said to come back next day cause was too late.Next day when I come back they change the price, double it, I drove twice there and lost time gas and did not do the work.

I called Ray after my catalytic converter was stolen early April 2022. The converter was listed as " dealer only part". But he helped me find an authorized replacement ( there is a 6mo to a year back order) that day. I called him the next morning and he found a tow for less than anyone in the IE. He came and got my car, and it was done the next day for less than half the dealer quote. He lifted it and showed me the work which was great. He even added some extra protection to keep it from being stolen again. Really nice guy, does great work. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Ray!??✌️Service: Auto exhaust system repair

Took our Hyundai Veloster here 2 weeks ago to get the exhaust manifold replaced. Called them super professional from the start. They didn't have the piece they needed but it was ordered and at the shop by the time we took the car in. Dropped car off and got provided transportation back home. Drove the car for a week and started hearing a rattling noise called them up and they had us take it back in (gasket issue) fixed the problem it's been a week since we took it back and so far so good.The service they provide was great!Services: General repairs & maintenance

I feel like God was looking out for me today when I looked up catalytic converter repair shops and I chose to call this location! I spoke to Ray whom was extremely helpful and gave me valuable information. He could have just took my money and replaced my catalytic converter. He looked at my miles and didn't, instead he told me to look at my owners manual and see if it's covered under CA emissions law. He cleared my code and said to see if it comes back on. Might I mind you my Dealership whom I purchased the vehicle from for $24,000 told me they could have it ready in 5 days for $2800. Without even doing a diagnostic, just going off the codes they pulled because my check engine light was on. I have 6 kids and a grandson, I should have found someone more honest long ago. Sorry for my rambling, my point is if the check engine light comes back on I will definitely be bringing it back to Ray at Central Auto Repair Mufflers on Central in Ontario for a much lower price and excellent customer service!

I've been coming to Central Auto since 2009 when I first needed work on an exhaust. Since, I've only trusted Ray (owner) and his shop! They do quality work, give you the best price possible and they're quick. I've done everything from having Central Auto install a full cat-back exhaust, do a muffler delete, resonator delete, replace tips and fabricate pipes to fit perfect with my car(s). These were done on different vehicles but each time, it was perfect. I've recommended my friends, and even my Mom. Cool story with my Mom, she originally wanted a Flowmaster on her 2021 Silverado. Of course we went to Central Auto. After they installed the new Flowmaster, she really didn't like the sound because it just wasn't loud enough for her. So she told Ray (owner) and Ray went above and beyond and had them remove the Flowmaster and change it out for what she liked, and now she loves the roar that her truck has. Thanks Central Auto!
