My dog, Toby, became violently ill after our morning walk. I knew it bad and needed immediate attention. The vet I normally use didn't have any walk in appointments available. They recommended me to VCA off Vineyard. I walked in and was taken in to the back. The vet worked quickly and my dog was hospitalized. He was diagnosed as consuming an opioid or some type of upper drug likely what he found on our walk. The vet got his fever down and sedated. He was able to recover without any permanent damage. I appreciate the vets and staff for their care. They are truly great people!

DO NOT bring pets here. I have a diabetic dog that needed emergency care due to her being lethargic and not eating and this was the only place currently open. After "checking" my dog they were highly suspicious of internal bleeding without doing any tests. They told me my options were pay 4k for an ultrasound or put her down. I wanted to take her to my own vet now that their office was open for the day and the vet and staff tried to warn me that she has no shot and would die on transport over. They finally let us go to our own vet where they did x rays and full blood work. we found out that she was just in a diabetic crisis due to insulin levels. After giving her anti naseua meds to get her appetite back and getting her insulin levels normal we took her home where she is back to normal and happy. All for less than $500.This vet at VCA was so quick to put down my dog and scare us while also not offering any testing besides a 4k ultrasound. Unless you want your pet to wrongfully be put down or pay a small fortune I would avoid this place at all costs

It's a business, not knocking the employees at all. But they wanted $13,000 for surgery for an obstruction in his intestines. Then they wanted another $1,000 a night for 5 days for the recovery. Wasn't about to put my family in debt over my best friend of 7 years "Doberman named Rambo" we told them we couldn't afford it and decided to put him down. They sat us in a room where they said take your time to say good bye. He came in, in bad shape, and when we were in that room I felt like crap and he felt my energy and wouldn't look at me. I called my dad and he recommended a place in Tijuana called Medical Pet. We called and they set us up for the next day. Long Story short he's home with my family back to normal and is super happy. And it cost me $2000 for surgery, ultrasound, and 24 hrs of care for 5 days. They speak English too.

From the moment I walked in to their building, I was greeted with smiles. The care that everyone gives you is spectacular. The doctors truly care for our fur babies, as well as every staff member in there. I am so fortunate to have found this place when I needed it the most. Kudos to all of you for such a great job!

Thank you Dr. Simon, my dog recently had surgery at VCA to remove a suspected mast cell tumor. Dr. Simon was very patient, answered all my questions and was always very quick to call me with results and explain everything in detail. I appreciate the wonderful care he and his staff provided to my dog. My dog is healing beautifully. In addition, we also see Dr. Sueda in the internal medicine department. He is absolutely wonderful, kind and very caring when providing care to my dog. At the end of all appointments, he always says call if you have any additional questions or concerns, I appreciate his willingness to always speak to me about my dog's care. He is always very quick to return calls. Dr. Simon and Dr. Sueda are absolutely wonderful and caring doctors! Overall, all the staff is very kind and you can really tell they love animals. Everyone here has provided nothing but the best care for my dog, I am very grateful, thank you.

Took my fur baby here. The service is quality and caring. No doubt that my cat was in good hands. However I had to ask 20 million questions. They definitely don't give the full picture and hand you a bill sheet and ask you choose how to take care of your cat. With no doctor direction. They wouldn't tell me what was going on with my cat. So I have to ask the doctor alot of questions. In which he was patient on answering. I had to prob and prod and ask alot of question so I don't randomly pay 3k+ on care for my cat. They took care of him with ease though. If Money is no option I would recommend this place.

We orginally took our Cat with a broken leg to the VCA (on Vineyard) and the estimated wait time was 7+ hours. Our cat clearly was in pain, (her leg was dangling (broken) and they would not give her any pain meds until she was seen by a doctor. We left and went to Corona Animal Emergency Center in Corona off Main Street. The wait time was 3 hours and they did there best to comfort our cat until seen by the vet. Corona Animal Emergency is for emergency situations only and so is the VCA.When both emergency centers told us the surgery would be $10,000 and amputation would be $6,000, simuliar to the costs of human emergency departments, we decided to get our cat the pain meds needed and have them (Corona Animal Emergency) put a splint on her leg until we could get her to our vet for these procedures. Emergency Departments for Animals AND Humans are expensive period. Get the immediate care and pain meds for your furbabies, then I would suggest go to your vet for the procedures, that will be a lot less expensive. Our vet charged $2,500 for amputation, meds and aftercare vs $6,000+ at the emergency centers. Dont let the emergency centers give you "sticker shock", there are less expensive options. Just make sure you get your furbaby seen asap by your vet :)

Cost me a fortune but they saved my dogs life. While my dog was admitted, I got daily updates from the doc. They were always willing to take my calls each time I wanted an update on my dogs condition. They took their time on each call and I was never made to feel like I was burden or interrupting. Thank you Doctor Stephenson and staff for being a scary experience one that ended with a good outcome! I appreciate you all!!

We took our Doberman pinscher here for a skin condition that we are currently still dealing with. We weren't thrilled with the care we were receiving from our normal vet and decided to take her here for an ER visit. I am SO glad we did. Everyone we have come in contact with has been so kind. We really love our doctor Sean Stenseng. He's been so informative and helpful throughout the whole process. Right now we go back every other day to redo her dressing and get her wound cleaned. Still not 100% sure what it's from but we feel very confident in the care that she is receiving here. Thank you so much!

Bad, bad, bad experience. On Friday at 10:00 pm my dog attack my other dog. My family and I found out that my dog named bowbow was bleeding and that his eye was red and pop out. We rush our dog to the hospital. The front desk was nice they were comforting my dog. Then we told them what happened . We waited 2 hours because there was 1 doctor . My dog eye was an emergency it was red and out. Once after we waited 2 hours, they called us and went inside a room,We told them what happened in that accident. They told us that, they were gonna take him to the doctor and take some test, so they took him to get "test"Like 1 minute they called my sister and said that my dog was blind that that he couldn't blink and he needed surgery. We ask how much would be for the surgery and they told us that it would be "3,000"Just to get an eye fix. We can't pay that much for a surgery. So we just payed for Medicine “175” .we left and went to a different place the next day since it was already late. Once we went to the different place they attend us fast and told us that if we went once "1 hour or more earlier they would clean the eye and stick the eye in and would be fine. For the surgery it was 250$ for surgery on my dog on the eye. Wow so much better then paying thousands of dollars. Let us pay the half of the money and once my dog was done with the surgery, payed the rest. The other place we went was better then this “VET” they are unprofessional and only care about the money first then pet . DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE UNLESS IF U WANNA PAY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS

Brought my grand daughter Sophie in to remove a non-healing hemorrhagic lesion and was attended by Dr. Peterson and her wonderful staff. Sophie’s doing great and we are so appreciative of the amazing work Dr. Peterson does at VCA!

My nephew Hero was fine this morning but became extremely sick late in the evening. We brought him to VCA and could not imagine taking him anywhere else. The staff were all so compassionate and kind. It was not what we expected or wanted to hear but it was our last day with Hero. The vet explained everything in detail and offered different options. As hard as it was for my nephew to make the decision, the vet and tech made it so much easier for him. They answered every question and they gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. I would recommend this hospital 100%. You will be missed Hero but our love will never fade away. ?

Whatever you do, please do not visit this place!my cat was giving birth and she seemed to have some issues, so i rushed her to ER in the middle on the night just to be on the safe side,at the time my cat already had 2 kittens, and one seemed that it maybe stuck in her canal, so they wanted to charge me $170 for each of them just to take a look , total of $510 for the mama and 2 kittens!!!the worst part was! they told me that my cat needed a C Section to survive or she will die, they said it would cost $5000 and they needed a deposit before they do anything!when i told them i cannot afford it, they offered me to put my cat to sleep for discount price!!!i said no, i took my cat and drove 20 miles to different ER, they took a look and they told me everything was good and they will just help her until she passes the kitten naturally, which they did, they charged me $95 and sent me home with bunch of free stuff and 4 perfectly healthy kittens and their mama cat!!!when those guys just wanted to make money by telling me (either pay or your cat will die)you cannot trust those people, please stay away

Got quoted for a surgery for $8000 when we had already spent $2500 for other stuff. We got sent here from another VCA clinic, and they had no idea what was going on when they told us they would know. They shaved and prepped my cat before we could even make a decision and explain that $8000 was a lot. They seemed agitated that we brought him home instead. We did research and looked for a clinic that did everything for $1100 and had more compassion about our situation. It is sad when a part of your family is in that situation and it is either pay a high amount or watch them suffer when you can't afford it. Luckily we found a different clinic that took care of our baby the minute that we stepped foot inside. NOT VCA.
