I have missed this Shop immensely!! After subjecting my Karmen Ghia to imbeciles who should find work slinging burgers I have someone I can trust!! Work was completed and I am very happy!!! I can now count on reliable quality workmanship for a reasonable price.
Though this place is about 65 miles away it's definitely worth the time, effort, and price to receive proper maintenance. I won't be finding anything broken after getting my car 'fixed'. I am hoping to move closer to the area so that I don't have a Round Trip of 130 miles. I am someone who likes to do proper maintenance on schedule so I will be back again and again.

2000 volkswagen was in shop for over year due to covid. I was told the towing would be free but it was included in my bill. I Paid over $900 and did not make it home. While driving on the freeway all the lights on the instrument panel were flashing. I had to pull off freeway. Mike advised me to return the car to the shop where it stayed another 6 months. This time I made it all the way home but then the car would not start the following morning. Mike advised me to drive 100 miles (even though it wouldnt start) and then return to him. In total I was already out of $1,100 for a volkswagen I paid $900 for. I decided to take it to another mechanic and was advised the on board computer needed to be replaced and that would cost another $600. I was not happy or satisfied with the service I got from Bud's Foreign Car Service and the 18 months they had the car and still returned it not working.

Been going here for years. Mike is so friendly. Does a great job on car repairs. His mechanic are also friendly.

I have taken my 1966 bug and 2019 Genesis G70 to Bud's for service over the last year. The owner, Mike, has over 30 years of experience and he and his mechanics do good work, he stands behind his work, his costs are reasonable, he is honest and does not try to rip you off or overcharge you. I recommend Mike without hesitation.

Brought my car here for some work. Acouple of weeks later I had to bring it back because the work was under warranty. A few days later I came back to check on it and he told me he had a mechanic on vacation but I was next. The next time I went down there he told me he had a bunch of work to catch up on but your next. Everytime I went down there it was a different excuse but always your next your next. The last time I went down there I find out someone had stolen all my speakers out of the car plus my Amp everything but the stereo. Then Mike tells me oh ya somebody stole a Sand rail too that belonged to a Riverside Deputy Sheriff. I finally came back and had my car taken somewhere else

They been having my car for a month and never call to give me an update. Every time I call he says I’ll have my car back that same week. Told him what’s wrong with up or at least what I think next week he told me the exact same thing I told him but yet hasn’t fixed it. Told me my car will be ready in 3 days it's been a month never get an update on the car have to call him just to here "I'm working on It right now give me a call after lunch" or "I have a guy coming in to work on the electrical you'll car back this week" been a month now Thought he would be a good option since the company I work for sends there truck to him but the trucks still keep breaking down and I'm still waiting

This review is long overdue... I have been looking for a good and honest mechanic out in the IE to work on my 1957 Volkswagen. Came across Bud's on Yelp and decided to take my bug in to get looked at. Took it in with a major oil leak, timing was off, it would stall, and was running extremely hot. All of these issues, and more we're all addressed and corrected at Bud's. I've owned this VW for nearly 15 years, and it has never run this good. Bud's will definitely be my choice for any future maintenance or repairs
