It's a great place to get pet supplies cause inside pet smart. Banfield pet hospital has curtious service and and professional staff.

We went here because we had a coupon for a "free" consultation, but this was more of a scam because of all the individual things they charge for. After charging separately for things (maybe something that wasn't even needed like "express anal glands") we ended up spending $200 for 2 small abrasions, including a charge for $31.00 for a small tube of ointment that most likely wasn't needed. We never even saw the vet for our dog, just spoke to a receptionist. I think this place takes advantage of pet owners who are worried about their pets and unfortunately do not know enough about a dog's health care needs.

Don't like having to schedule a wellness exam just to refill a prescription, and it is only being asked for because they have incredibly high turnover with their Vets.

Yesterday, we were in a heartbreaking position because it was time to say goodbye to our dear boy, Jack (old age/cancer). We made an appointment for 3 pm so the family could be there. ON ARRIVAL, NOT ONLY WERE THEY NOT THERE NO ONE REACHED OUT TO US. From the petsmart manager, we found out that both veterinarians called in canceling not only our end of life appointment but a surgery they had scheduled that day and provided notice to no one. I understand that life happens and sometimes appointments cannot be made but there is absolutely no excuse for the complete lack of empathy and not reaching out. Do not trust your pets to this location clearly they don't care.

The Staff are always very nice and they make sure to answer all your questions. They always make me feel good about the choices they recommend. They treat me and my dogs so kind!

Thank you to all the staff here at the Ontario location :) They took care of my baby Recker today he was lethargic and painful in his abdomen area.Long story short he ingested dirt a lot of it and was impacted :(. Dr.Magee informed me that it will pass since it was in his colon basically on its way out. I'm so grateful they were able to help and give my baby fluids to make him feel better. He came home and ate and took his medicine like a champ will continue to monitor. Thank you Banfield Ontario staff ,Dr.Magee and Amanda his nurse today. :)

First time to bring my fur baby Maggie at the this hospital to check her incision if it's good since she got spayed last June 2, 2022. Reception people have been helpful and we enrolled with the Optimum Wellness Plan - Active Care to make sure she's always in good condition. Thank you to Dr. Matthew Snyder and Nurse Denise for taking good care of my Maggie! We were able to talk to Nurse Denise - she explained thoroughly what they did with Maggie's comprehensive exam and said she's healthy! I like their service, they don't rush talking to you and really take their time explaining everything. Very informative. Thank you all again!

They take good care of my pets here. They work with me regarding documentation so I get reimbursed for insurance with no issues. I highly recommend.

I am really getting frustrated with this Banfield. I have wellness plans for two of my cats here. Both of them now have some ongoing medical issues we are trying to deal with. They STILL are trying to do all appointments as drop off. When I call and make an appointment I specifically ask to make it an appointment where I wait with my cat outside until they're ready to see him and they bring him right out to me. They assure me that is totally doable. Yet EVERY time I show up the doctor is in surgery so we have to drop him off even though I specifically asked for an appointment time where I could wait while he is being seen. It's honestly getting to be ridiculous. My other cat has a different vet (we've actually taken her to a few for second opinions on her enucleation) and all of those vets have let us go in the room with her. I don't understand the point of having appointment times if it's just dropping your cat off to sit in a kennel at the vet for literally 5-6 hours. It's upsetting to these animals, especially when they have to go back multiple times within a few weeks. I really like Dr. Snyder. He's been very kind and helpful but this system is just not working for me anymore. I'm thinking about canceling my wellness plans and just going to another vet because the money is not worth this type of customer service.

Good service, got me in right away. However forgot to tell me some important information about my pup when I picked her up - ended up waiting days for test results that were not taken.
